Tane Vegan Izakaya

The sushi is Fresh, flavorful, and totally crush-worthy. The ramen — bland, oddly textured, and kind of like hot disappointment in a bowl. But the real plot twist? The staff’s attitude. Let’s just say it was less zen and more “customer? what customer?” The vibe went from peaceful plant-based paradise to awkward tension faster than you can say “kombu.” Would I come back for the sushi? Maybe. Would I come back for the ramen and the side of grumpiness? Absolutely not.

I’ve been here a few times but I probably won’t be coming back. It’s great to see a fully vegan izakaya. The creativity behind some of the dishes stands out, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into the menu. That said, I wish the pricing was more reasonable. Charging extra for basics like miso soup—even when ordering several sushi rolls—feels a bit off, and $3 for hot sauce or chili oil seems excessive, especially when those are usually complimentary. The ramen is a letdown. I also had some discomfort after eating their faux meats, which makes me wonder about the ingredients used. The atmosphere is nice when it’s not full, otherwise you can’t really enjoy a conversation. It!s a cool concept, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Update - we have come back a few times and their specialty rolls are delicious! The Agedashi tofu was amazing however found the classic rolls to be a bit underwhelming - we tried the spicy tofuna roll, Philadelphia roll, and the sweet potato roll.

Food is great. Unique. Food came quick. Servers aren't the warmest and restaurant is small and a little loud. Tables are so close to each other, you don't get a lot of privacy or space. I think I'll try carry out next time maybe.

I have no pictures because we ate it all too fast :( We have an all vegan sushi place in Denver called “Wellness Sushi” so I was excited to check this place out! Did not disappoint and loved every bite! A table was about 45min wait so we ate at the bar for no wait Edit: asked my non vegan relative what they thought of their ramen: “My brain was telling me I was eating pork and I’m allergic to pork, it was that good!” Said he liked the California roll too!

I dont like sushi, and I was skeptical of a vegan sushi place. But wow everything was delicious! 6 of us ordered ~10 things and everything was so good! I am glad I tried this new adventure!

We come here often and many vegans and omnis love this place. Recently went and their new menu items were great addition, especially the meat skewer and a couple new rolls.

Awesome food. Everyone should taste the food here.
