Hey, Sunshine Kitchen

A refreshing, vibrant restaurant - the food captured complex flavors and is so fresh. We tried two bowls that had so many perfect flavor combinations. The nuggets are kid (and adult) favorites. The cookie tasted like homemade comfort, and we loved the lemonade flavors. No notes. Great flavors, great food, great service. You have to try it; it lives up to its sunny name!

I love hey Sunshine! The food is so fresh, healthy and delicious 😋. Their bowls are awesome! And definitely get the Mac and cheese. The cookies are gourmet, they're full of chocolate chips and the sprinkles on top are fun! You have to eat here! Support local businesses 🌸!

Excellent food, awesome service... the lemonade are very good, bowls are full of flavor reasonably priced and definitely filling... I would recommend over and over!

So delicious - the raspberry cheesecake was out of this world. The staff are helpful and very nice - I recommend the chicken Caesar and the Mediterranean chickpea!!!

Visiting from out of town and stopped by this place for a quick lunch. SO DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the Mediterranean chickpea bowl with extra bbq tofu and it was so tasty, healthy, and the dressing was amazing. Will be back for dinner :D

Visiting from out of town and was met with a great experience. The chicken sandwich and BBQ Jerk Sandwich was outstanding. I'll make sure to visit every time I'm in town.

I live in the Pasadena area and I drive all the way out just to get my Mediterranean chickpea fix from here. I had to ask if they were gonna open up a branch in Pasadena bc that’s really the only thing that’s stopping me from coming in weekly

Wow this place is amazing!! I noticed a sign when walking in that the bbq jackfruit sandwich is limited edition. Please do not take this off the menu!!! I’m begging you! That sandwich is my pride and joy, my Roman Empire. If you take it away, I fear what I might become. But seriously I love this place!

We ordered chickpea nuggets, a burger, got chicken sandwich, chocolate velvet & mac'n' cheese. Turns out that was 2 days worth of food. I'm an omnivore & my wife is pescatarian. I'm always interested in trying Vegan & vegetarian options. Honestly, I was impressed with the food here. The staff is very nice and attentive as well. That chickpea nugget is delicious. Reminds me of a very good potato samosa. Mac'n'cheese also impressed me. Well-seasoned and creamy. The sandwiches were on point. I would rate the hot chicken a 3 on 10 scale for heat. Still tasty I almost wished I had gone with a bowl because the items altogether were a bit heavy. My other wish would be that the cake was larger... But I'm a fat kid at heart.

Wow I have been coming here for so long that I can’t believe I forgot to leave a review! This is my number 1 vegan spot in LA. Not only is the food made fresh everyday, the ingredients used feel super clean! I love making my own bowl but honestly there isn’t an item on this menu that you can get and say something bad about. Heather and Jenny are just the sweetest and their staff embodies their energy and makes the atmosphere wonderful to be in. I even almost worked there myself just because the food and vibes were so good. Also, the food is consistently good. Do yourself a favor and go get some Hey Sunshine!
