VegiOasis Modern Japanese Vegan Cuisine

WOWWWW. Amazing experience & food here. We’d recommend this place to anyone- vegan or not. The food is so fresh & delicious. We ordered more food than originally planning to just because it all looked so delicious & we couldn’t narrow it down further. We are only traveling here for a week but we will be back before the week is over. Staff was very kind & welcoming.

I'm not really a fan of vegan food, I only went because my friend is vegan. But I'd hate to admit that this place was really really good. The imitation meat they have is phenomenal. Not a bad place to go when you want to eat something healthy quickly. Prices are not that expensive either for the location. The owner and the hosts are super welcoming.

My primary contact was Jennifer when I called in to ask if it was possible to order 20 takeout cups of their small-sized Vegan Corn Chowder for a biggg Holiday Potluck I was attending the next evening. Not only was it possible (I would have understood if not since I didn't give that much advance notice), but it was also one of the friendliest and reassuring people I could have talked to!! She was incredibly patient with discussing my options over the phone, such as payment or what pickup time would work for us both, etc. I'm thankful that her manager gave Jennifer their approval of my last-minute order. Upon pickup day, I found all the takeout cups to be securely wrapped in plastic wrap and securely stacked and tied in eco friendly "plastic" bags. Jennifer was kind enough to help me carry my order to my car, and even went as far as to suggest to me how we could safely secure all the cups to avoid them toppling over/spilling. As for the actual Potluck experience, everyone (vegan or not) who tried the corn chowder absolutely loved it!!! The corn chowder really provided something more healthy and hearty against the array of pizzas and fast food at my Potluck, and I can't thank Vegioasis enough for their kind accommodation. Their corn chowder warmed all of our hearts and bellies! <3

Good vibes, great food & staff are really lovely

We went to the soft opening of VegiOasis which was VegiLicious before. The menu is the same and taste of food is the same as Vegilicious because previous owners handed down recipes to the new owners before moving back to Japan. The culinary is Japanese. It is 100% vegan and organic!!! The place is relaxing with good vibe atmosphere. Service was friendly and staff welcomed customers back! They need customers so please support this vegan restaurant! We had Chef's Green Salad with sesame ginger dressing, miso soup, vegan Kobe beef bbq bowl on multigrain rice, tempeh Japanese curry on multigrain rice, and then shared a vegan ice cream sundae. Curry sauce is made in house. Food was tasty, healthy (not oily), and fresh. Quality is up there! Unfortunately this place is far from our home. It probably takes about half an hour to get there but Huntington Beach people should be happy this place is reopened! The grand opening is Sunday October 20, 2024. This restaurant opens 11am-2pm and 5pm-9pm daily!!!! I hope they will make it. Although the prices on the menu are high, you get what you pay for in fresh, organic, and excellent quality vegan dishes.

This restaurant closed, but just recently re-opened under new owners whom were previous patrons - however, everything stayed the same menu-wise with some expansion planned in the future. I never had the chance to try it out before the change, but was lucky enough to come into the area when they were hosting their first soft opening dinner service. If the new management is any indication of how it was then and now - then they are doing a great job! And I can only see them getting better as time goes on. Food wise, we ordered the kobe rice bowl and the curry variant as well as the onigiri and all tasted wonderful! Looking forwards to trying more of the menu and desserts in the future.

The food here is delicious and made by wonderful people! Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed with the vegan dishes crafted with love.
