Loved it! A lot of ramen choices, and can make some of them vegan. Gyoza was good too!

Solid 2.5 There was only one worker in front of the restaurant. Maybe 2-3 in the kitchen. Food took SO LONG to come out. That was the biggest downside. There were a couple of people that were picking up, and they took priority over the people who were sitting down in the. Food was ok, there was something crispy that was added on top. It should not be added as it gets really soggy. The broths are light and over all the ramen were a solid 3. However, I will not be returning.

The service was amazing, the person helping me was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu and is the only thing keeping the rating from being lower, but the Ramen is another story. If you were looking for something traditional or like tonkatsu, this is not the place for you. Their broth has no body and the flavor is stale. The soft boiled egg was overcooked so the texture was rubbery, dry and chalky in the yolk. If you are not someone that like vegan cuisine I would avoid this place.

Came in and already knew what I wanted 20 minutes before closing. I understand it was close to closing but I was hoping I could get something and saw people just finishing their ramen and was excited. Only to be told that their boiler was broken and they could not serve ramen. I’m not sure how honest that was. The girl that came to the front looked like she just wanted to get out right at closing. Just say you are no longer serving if that’s the case.

I think Rakkan was a decent spot for vegetarians who want to have ramen without sacrificing texture and flavor. There’s plenty of seating and service was pretty quick. I’m not sure if I’d come back though. ⚪️Quartz: Waiter personally recommended this. I think the broth was rich and savory. It definitely felt slightly creamier/richer than other broths I’ve had. The noodles were the other highlight being well-cooked so that they were bouncy and just a bit chewy. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to find more ramen after every mouthful. The rest of the toppings like the pork, broccolini and seaweed were a bit disappointing though. The pork was thankfully not cooked to the point of being dry but was still soft and easy to have. But it felt like I was eating a slab of chicken breast than your usual chashu. Maybe if they tried using thighs instead? 🍗Karage: There was a light crispy layer on the outside but inside was a bit too dry. Not bad though. 🍟Furikake Fries: Skip this one honestly. Just felt like plain fries from anywhere. The furikake didn’t really add any flavor to the fries. A bit disappointing. Ambiance: wants to feel bougie but the sticky menu said otherwise
