One of the best Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. You cannot go wrong with any order. Their chow mein, chow fun, stir fries, fried rice is a must have. They also have a plethora of tofu dishes. If you want spicy ask for extra spicy.

We had Chow Fun, wonton soup, and the eggplant with tofu. All 3 dishes were tasty and we plan to come here again. Update: This place never disappoints. Garlic Eggplant, General's Chicken, Veggie Chow Fun, and Wonton soup are our go to items. Update: my kids say the chow fun here is their favorite noodles. And we eat a lot of noodles so they know noddles. Tried the black pepper chow mein. Was a nice change from the usual dishes we get but a bit too spicy for the kiddos. Tofu fries were a big hit with the kids.

Even though it’s primarily catered to Americans and serving American Chinese food, the dishes are delicious and great if you are just looking for a quick and healthy lunch

Why is it so difficult to put down a fork or spoon, you can immediately see the indifference to the customer, you made an order, it arrived without forks, we couldn't eat, we had to go buy forks

The taste was pretty bland, veggie meat wasn't as good as in Green Lotus or Merit

I've been here quite a few times, and it's my go-to vegetarian spot. With such a wide selection, it is very exciting to read a menu and not have to think about what has meat or question the sauce. Food has great flavor, good texture. Definitely away from the standard "vegetarian = raw veggies" type of restaurant. Yeah, sometime I want a hot soupy noodle with depth in the broth. Or a flavorful stuffed bun that is juicy and hot off the steamer. The price is great for the quality, that's why I'm a loyal customer. I highly recommend this place for delicious food. It's got a very chill hong kong diner/cafe vibe where after you eat, you chat with your friends for an hours or so.

I’m sorry to say, but this restaurant has gone downhill slowly over the last couple of years. I started going to this restaurant almost 12 years ago. And it was so good. But the last three times I’ve visited, the food quality has really deteriorated. I know they sold the business at least once and they’ve probably had a couple different cooks, but there are too many restaurants in this area that serve excellent food. The lemon chicken was hard, chewy and tasteless. The vegetarian chow mein was too wet with soy sauce.
