Malibu's Burgers - Oakland

Malibu is in my top 5 vegan restaurants of all time! The food is simple yet unique and has a signature flavor. Darren and his mom Lulu are very cool people too! Hope they reopen a location in Marin where I work, I would be a weekly customer!!

Facebook feed said today that being a vegan being part of the world's biggest family and I am glad to share the vegan family experience with y'alls. They will also share restaurant space with Fungi Foods so we can indulge in deep fried battered mushroom items that most people aren't going to make at home with all the setup involved. I'm sitting outside. I have to try a shake next time I come here. I should venture out and get other items. I really like the La Lulu chick'n sandwich. The fries are crinkle fries. Come on 6% of the population. Forgive my bites in the photos. I wanted to show a realistic side view of the chick'n sandwich.

Got a chicken sandwich and fries. Sandwich was good, no complaints, but this is a piss poor amount of fries. This was my first time ordering from them, and I've always heard good things, but I'll take this as a lesson to make food at home.

Definitely a great spot for a vegan burger. I got the patty melt and hella hella fry’s both super solid I’ll be back.

I was there 25' ago, exactly 2:45pm to place my orders. One of them said to me without hesitation that we don't take any orders. I was so disappointed as I spent time to travel there, getting through all the traffic and struggling to find a parking. I'm wondering when they refuse their customers, do they ever think of how much time and cost their customers have to pay to get into their place? They don't care about their customers, not caring at all about their business. Honestly, I won't ever to come back there again. It's a really bad service.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had (and I’m not even vegan!). I think I would choose this over the other places that I’ve eaten at any day. Worth the drive! Didn’t take pictures because I took one bite and ate the rest so quickly that I forgot about the picture! Would 10/10 recommended to everyone!

Bad food, bad service, and bad atmosphere. The cashier had a funky attitude and was talking on her cell phone the whole time. It was super dark inside the building, and my order was made incorrectly. I didn't even go back to complain, I just wanted to hurry up and get out of there never to return.
