I’ve only come here once but I thought it was SO good. I got the Bay Bowl and loved the blend of açaí, pitaya, chia pudding, coconut cream. I’ve never had anything like it. I also think the prices are reasonable compared to somewhere like Bare Bowls. The two ladies staffing were also very helpful. Will be coming back when I’m in town!

The actual product is great but the service here is so slow it’s maddening, and that’s with self order option only ! The employees seem to be really unhappy to have customers (on multiple different occasions) and a trip here that should take 5 min ends up being 20. Prices for add ons are wild too.

I expected and have had better. They didn’t measure anything. I watched them just throw a handful of this and that into a bowl. They didn’t measure anything. My bowl had a giant bowl of oatmeal in it. My wife had a giant wad of dried whatever in hers. If it was in the middle of Nevada, it’d be good this is Palo Alto.

I love love LOVE Palmetto. It’s hands down my favorite açaí place, and I’ve tried a bunch in the Bay Area. It’s got colorful, fresh ingredients, and you have unlimited toppings and bases to choose from all for the same price. That’s golden! Not only do you have free rein in how many bases and toppings you want to put, but their vibe and branding are also really well done. And as a fellow creative, I appreciate the quality in their food and in their story and mission statement. And I absolutely love that they have highly nutritious and delicious ingredients like spirulina, beehive pollen, chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp, etc The only reason I have a 3 rating for atmosphere is the location is just a bit tiny, but there are chairs and tables outside. It’s just that it’s not the cleanest if people have sat there. And the tables aren’t reserved just for palmetto so anyone from any of the food places can sit there, making it hard to find a spot sometimes. Other than that, great bowls 🩷

This happened some time ago, but I feel like I still need to write this review. A friend wanted something from the store and we came in around 15 minutes before closing. The employees saw us come in and sort of turned their faces away. It looked like they might have been packing up, but since they didn't say anything, my friend thought of his order, and told them what he wanted. They responded by saying "we're closed". This was incredibly rude because they had clearly saw us come in and saw us standing at the counter, but instead of straight up telling us, they tried to ignore us and hope we'd leave. Closing time is closing time, you're supposed to pack up afterwards. And even if that wasn't an issue, they could have at least had the courtesy of letting us know they weren't taking orders instead of being passive aggressive.

Out of the 4 employees only one seemed to be actually working. The iPad ordering system was painfully slow and buggy. Nobody greeted us or offered any help. It was like walking to a group of high school kids hanging out.

I fool myself every time I order from this place. The açaí isnt good, at all, they limit the DoorDash menu so you don't even get what they fully offer in store, and they don't offer a direct way to contact them. Only good thing about them is the blue chai base which I'm mking at home from now on.
