The Green Temple

We are located almost next door to Green Temple and I eat there quite often. The food is always fresh and healthy. The staff feels like more of a family than a corporate. They have plenty of choices from salads, an amazing veggie burger, Mexican, loafs, specials.. the green steamers are my go to with the black beans and we also love the Tofu steamers and tofu sauce. Don't forget to check out the specials board for daily soups and dessert options. The sweets are incredible here and you don't feel that guilty because their food is so healthy. The atmosphere is beautiful and serene in their small dining room or beautiful courtyard. They also have specialty juices and teas you won't find anywhere else. There Green Temple just celebrated 25 years making Redondo Beach more healthy and more happy.. and we hope they are around forever because we love eating here.

I would highly recommend the Green Temple.. they have outstanding food and great people. My favorite is the tofu steamers with the upgraded veggies.. if you have a sweet tooth save room for dessert because they are incredible. They also offer Mexican dishes, salads, sandwiches, different soups or you can do a custom 4 or 5 bowl and design your own creation. There are a few dedicated parking spots in the alley off Catalina. They also have some very unique teas and juices you can't find elsewhere. Solid 5 stars all day. They are closed on Mondays.

I’ve been here a few times now and I love how clean the food is, how pretty the space is and how lovely the staff are. However, yesterday was the first time I was really craving dessert and we just could not stop eating the pistachio-lime vegan cheesecake. I am not a huge fan of cheesecakes but if this is how all cheesecakes were made with the most spectacular crust, I would be in trouble. Can’t go wrong with anything here tbh. And it’s so close to the Esplanade :)

Variety of vegetarian dishes. I highly recommend the cornadilla, tamales, and macadamia chocolate pie!

Food was middling but the real turnoff was their reluctance to do more than two checks for our party of 10.
