With limited options close to home I love Monty’s food but they have the worst staff. Not one has an ounce of customer service. Instead of greeting you and telling you they’ll be with you in minute,they continue their conversations for several minutes. My experience the other day will probably be my last. After waiting by the counter close to 5 minutes the girl finally finished her conversation with her 3 coworkers ask me what I would like which I tell her then to her reply “Are you aware of the burgers are vegan” I guess since I’m a black male with dreads i can’t read a huge menu that I had 5 minutes to read? And I be coming to Monty’s since 2020 been to the Culver City Echo Park etc and live by the the Riverside location which I’ve been to more than a dozen times

My buns on my burger were black and it was terrible. And I mean charcoal and the burger was a bit nasty. Service was nice though and the atmosphere was great.

Amazing burger!! Highly recommend if you want a vegan burger. The strawberry lemonade was really good too. However, it’s pretty noisy and hot in the cafe area.

Best vegan chicken sandwich I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried plenty). Kale cesar salad was delicious as well. Staff super friendly and quick. Will definitely be back

It is very hard to mess up a breakfast burger but montys has perfected the practice. The sauce applied makes you believe that your burger has somehow rotted in the 10 seconds it took you to grab it from the window after it was prepared. Yuck.
