They have plenty of vegan options. The food was phenomenal..I tried the vegan calamari taco (5/5). It's fried hibiscus. Loved it so had to try it again (so had 2 of them). (The service was great too, everyone seemed nice 🧁) P.S Don't alter/modify your order like I did. I modified one of the soft tacos to the crunchy one and didn't like it (too greasy).🥲 Vegan / Vegetarian / Veg review ☘️💚🌿

First mayan restaurant I visited. I planned to come last month but didn't get a chance. Finally able to visit and try the food and drink. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It is located on closed street from vehicle. The interior is simple and you feel like you are somewhere at the restaurant in other part of America. It has plenty dishes and drink on the menu. This place will be "heaven" for vegitarian has it has plenty vegitarian dishes on the menu. We order mocktail which were refreshing. For appetizer? Yucca, tortillas chips, and elotes are yummy. The dipping for tortillas is very unique. It is not salsa. The bao and mayan tacos are yummy. Interesting the serve bao.it is exactly like Chinese bao. Pricewise it is reasonable but some are quite high. Service was good and we went home happy.

Their menu is roughly half vegan options which was great for me as a vegetarian and everything that we tried was unique and absolutely delicious. Literally in my top 10 restaurants ever. The staff is very sweet and kind. The tortillas were SO GOOD! Cannot wait to come back

We are vegetarian and wanted to try out vegan dishes. We all 4 friends thought 80% of the dishes were just canned foods that are either pre-heated before being served or Not heated at all. Service was great. Atmosphere was great! You'll get Sunnyvale downtown vibes!

We had a pleasant experience dining at the Mayan Kitchen, which offers an interesting variety of fusion dishes from Central/South America. The restaurant offers several unique vegan options - the vegan calamari tacos made from fried hibiscus stood out in particular to us. The head chef was very courteous and friendly to us! The portions are small but the quality makes up for it, would definitely recommend trying the different dishes here!

I appreciate them being VERY vegan friendly. However, flavor wise it was just "meh". The best dish in my opinion was the corn appetizer, it was delicious. The vegan calamari was not appealing look wise and wasn't tasty, we were a group of 8 and we didn't finish it, not sure why it's labeled as the most popular dish. Plantains were good but not wow, same for the potatoes. The tacos were ok, I make better ones at home, maybe guacamole would make them better. Non alcoholic drink was tasty but pricey.

My wife and I had an early dinner here. They had a really good selection of vegetarian, vegan, and meat items. The food was very tasty and presented well. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will come again.
