Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is an absolute gem. I’m not vegan myself—I still eat dairy and fish—but I keep coming back here because the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. After years of visiting, it’s high time I left a review! This visit was for lunch, and I ordered the vegan BLT sandwich, which came with a fresh side salad, and treated myself to an ice-blended coffee drink. Everything was simple yet spot-on—clean flavors, quality ingredients, and nothing overdone. I’ve also been here for dinner several times and can highly recommend their vegan fettuccine Alfredo and especially the green beans. Those green beans are next-level—bursting with flavor. I honestly wish I could get the recipe! I walked over during my lunch break, since I now work in Old Town Tustin, and the setting really adds to the experience. I’ve included a few photos so you can see how charming the area is—think brick buildings, Victorian homes, and a vibe that feels more like a storybook town than Southern California. The restaurant’s outdoor patio is a perfect little oasis, complete with a cute fountain, leafy shade, and sunny spots for those who want them. Service was quick and attentive, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. The staff checked in just the right amount—present but never intrusive. All in all, this spot is a long-standing favorite for good reason. Whether you’re plant-based or just looking for a meal that’s fresh and satisfying, you won’t be disappointed.

This place doesn’t accept Apple Pay which is so bizarre. The truffle burger is delicious don’t get me wrong. They also have no outlets for charging. Idk for those reasons I’m not coming back. Who doesn’t have Apple Pay in 2025?

Have been here several times. FreeSoulCafé is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Orange County with indoor and outdoor seating. Their pizza is phenomenal (but only available during dinner). I recommend the squash blossom pizza. Have also enjoyed their ramen, fresh salsa, and sandwiches. Brussel sprouts are good. Brunch menu looks yummy, but haven’t tried it.

The place itself is adorable, offers inside and outside seating with heaters. Came on a Friday nights and was busy but didn't need a reservation. A ton of awesome and interesting vegan food dishes. A very cute vegan spot in OC that's definitely worth checking out. Food is tasty and fun and overall a great date spot.

Some things of course changed over time. I remember when desserts were displayed. It was quite a sight to see, also folks who had allergies were patronized as a customer positively. Such has changed, nonetheless, the quality of the food is top notch, certainly compared to many others. Customer service solid footprint, off I-5 nestled in a quaint cul-de-sac in town.

My husband and I came here after a visit to our tax man. First time. Let me first say the food is so fresh! My husband had the Fennel Sausage pizza. When it came to the table, I was very impressed. It was beautiful! I didn't try it as the pizza had chili peppers on it, but I did try the crust. Sooo good! Crunchy on the outside, tender and soft on the inside; pizza crust 101! He ate it all so it was really good. I had the Truffle Burger, Tomato Bisque soup and hot chocolate. The burger tasted and had the texture like a beef patty. The truffle aioli was fantastic! The soup, though not creamy had a creamy mouth feel and is clearly made from scratch. It was really good. The hot chocolate was creamy and comforting but not overly sweet which I really appreciate. The location is quaint, though a bit noisy due to traffic. I'm excited to visit again even though we don't live nearby. Another visit is definitely worth the drive.

This is a great place if you are vegan. The food tastes really good, so even if you are not vegan this is good place to grab a bite. The menu is great with lots of options to choose from. The items are on the pricier side but totally worth the value! I would definitely go back!
