IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE! They have their own unique vibe and they are not going to compromise it for anyone (believe me, we tried). This is not necessary a bad thing, but you should be made aware of it before you decide to go. If you're religious and/or judgemental, don't even bother going. Their music is loud and explicit, the staff wears t-shirts with cuss words on them, and in general, there's "salty" language all around. Now, with that being said, it's a very nice little spot. So excited to have Latin/Carribean food here in the springs. Their Cuban sandwich is delicious and so is their "Coquito" (Carribean White Russian). Their "arepas" are, eh, wouldn't get those again, nor the Guava Mama, but mostly everything else is on point. Food tastes fresh and delicious (for the most part). They have great tacos. Staff is friendly, and their prices are reasonable.

This place is popular. Amazing food and drinks, staff are awesome too. Parking is free in the lot but can get packed quick. Small indoor area and a decent outdoor area for eating. Never seen this place have a slow day. Staff are helpful and kind, willing to make suggestions and inform on the menu. Bar drinks are great, good flavors and selections, they pair well with the food. Amazing place for some latin fusion food, try to go between lunch and dinner if you don't want as large of a crowd or a longer wait.

I ordered online and they had it ready on time. The food was really good, but my Piglatin Plate was spicy even though the menu didn't show anything about that. They are short staffed so they are not able to clean the tables fast enough to receive new guests.

Jessica was our server and she was so busy with other tables but somewhere managed to make us feel seen and taken care of. She checked in the perfect amount and was so friendly and thoughtful. Will be back and will ask for her! Thanks Jessica!!!

07/03/25 at approximately 9:30: Where should I even begin? It is frustrating that management employs individuals who fail to add value to the establishment. To start, our server (a girl with short black hairidk the name since that wasn't mentioned) appeared displeased to seat us outside, despite the outdoor area being open for seating. When we inquired about turning off the fan, she refused, stating that the fan was part of the brand (what does that even mean?). Consequently, we relocated to a spot where the fan was not directly blowing on us, but she seemed unhappy with that choice. Additionally, they were out of most items we requested from the menu. When we asked for an explanation, she mentioned that the General Manager was incompetent. After placing our order, we were informed that they were out of plantains, which were supposed to accompany our dish. We also requested some pepper, only to be told they did not have any. This situation made me feel quite sorry for her; she is there to represent a brand, yet instead of fulfilling her responsibilities, she chose to behave in a certain manner. I am uncertain which restaurant operates without pepper and salt. We used to enjoy visiting this place, but I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere, at an establishment that treats its guests with respect. Nevertheless, we made the most of the situation and managed to enjoy our time.

I often go to taste of Philly and I had seen that there used to be a crowd here so I decided to give it a chance. They really did earn the one star all the way around. The outside patio area is just filthy and in need of a good power washing. They encourage people to bring their filthy dogs. why do I want a dog around me when I'm eating food? The food is just terrible I had the worst empanadas I have ever had. I wanted to try the chicken and beef but they were out of the beef. I suspect no big loss. They don't have iced tea. Seriously what restaurant doesn't sell iced tea? Service was lackluster at best. So if you like eating subpar food in dirty surroundings with dogs this is the place for you.

We had the ropa vieja where the meat was chewy and the flavor was a bit off. The chicken empanada was heavy on salt and in general we found the food a bit salty. Service was very good though. No high chair.

My Colombian daughter in law absolutely loves coming here! It reminds her of home and the rest of the family enjoys it as much as she does. Good job PLC!
