Amazing desert place. Probably good for a proper meal but I only just learned of this place and got 1 of every dessert quite literally which satisfied everyone in the party of 14.

I cannot stress this enough, the food is amazing. Kelly, our awesome waitress, keeps bringing us bottomless mimosas that are strong and favorable and the food is rich and fulfilling. I ordered the buffalo cauliflower and the chick’n sandwich and both blew my mind. I’m here with my non vegan buddy and he’s even enjoying himself too.

I’ve been to DC Vegan twice now, and both times I’ve been impressed with everything I ordered—there’s not a bad item on the menu! The owner and staff are super welcoming, and I love that there’s a yoga studio upstairs too (need to try a class next time!).

I'm not a vegan and I usually do not like vegan food but this place was wonderful. Everything we had was delicious. We will definitely be back!

My friends brought me to DC Vegan and it was delicious. They had a limited menu so I ordered the Chick’n cutlet club and the fries Italiano. Both were delicious. My friends also recommended the lasagna and cauliflower wings so I will try those next time. I’m glad I was introduced to this restaurant. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

I hate giving vegan restaurants bad reviews because I want people to try them but also have to be honest. FYI The botanical bar downstairs is no longer open so the upstairs is only available. We were hoping for a romantic date night, but that is not possible anymore. The atmosphere is like a deli atmosphere, awkward, not great for dates…more suitable for lunch. There is a sewage odor in the entire restaurant most likely from a cracked vent pipe. They should have a plumber look into this smell. We ordered the skins, chikn caesar, cacio y Pepe, meatball bowl, chocolate cannoli. The skins and chikn Caesar were very good so we were excited for the main courses but they were both not good. The cacio y Pepe was flavorless. There was no cheesiness or pepper. Almost as if they forgot both ingredients. It tasted like noodles in liquid paper. The meatball bowl was a disaster. The quinoa was severely undercooked or dried to a chewy crisp. The sauce was extremely acidic as if the chef spilled the bottle of vinegar into it. The meatballs were fine but grocery store vegan meatballs are equal or better The chocolate dipped cannoli was fine. Nothing special and certainly not worth $8. Food quality and atmosphere was not good and especially not worthy of the prices. The service was good.
