This isn’t my first time having Senbeb cafe. It’s probably been over 10/15 times! lol.. soo, it’s safe to say it’s one of my go toos for a quick warm filling vegan meal. I will say, I unusually get the same things.. but I see other things being ordered!! My buddy ordered the crab cakes (which I’ve never had) and he ATE EVERYTHING, left no crumbs… soo it must have been good!

I had the crispy fried portobello mushroom with spinach, peppers and onions, Mac and cheese and mixed greens. The portobello mushrooms were ok, the mixed greens weren't bad just needed a little seasoning, the mac cheese was the worst vegan mac and cheese I have ever tasted. It taste like the box it came out of. I also had the corn bread which was very dry.

What an amazing place! We were looking for vegetarian food and stumbled upon this humble place. Amazing soul food and everything is vegan. I don't know how they did it but they made vegan fried chicken! Tasted amazing. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. The owner was so sweet, she gave our son free sweet potato bread. Love the culture and the vibe.

Believe the reviews! This Soul Food is amazing! Flavors are on point! While also not being too heavy. I had the “Fried Fish” and it has to be the best imitation fish I’ve ever had as a vegan. The Mac was good, the collards were flavorful without being salty. The complementary Cornbread was just right! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt great afterwards!!

I'm being introduced to the Vegan lifestyle & all I can say is, this restaurant is the BEST introduction. Food does not taste like cardboard 🤦🏽♀️😂 & is totally DELICIOUS. The red lentil soup & spaghetti is not listed below, but YEAH, TOTALLY DELICIOUS .. and let's not forget about the atmosphere that was very welcoming ✨️. No dissappointments here 😉

The plus side is that the food is vegan. It is a little heavy. To me, the tofu was a little sweet, but it was good to have with rice and greens. The minus side is that everything is in plastic. Even though we dined in, we got plastic clamshells in number 5, plastic which does not recycle. It went directly into the trash at the restaurant at the end of our meal, along with the silverware and the salt container. Vegan food is ethical and environmentally sound. It was disappointing to be forced to use so much plastic and throw it away. I had brought my own takeout container so leftovers would come home with me without plastic. I was not expecting the dine-in experience to create so much waste. It would be great to see a change to (paper) plates and washable silverware for dining.
