Great food. Amazing south Indian cuisine. Dal makhni is good. It can get really hot in there. They have great food. But do not expect a 5 star ambiance. It has Jain food, which was a seller for some people in our group. Pure indian veg restaurant.

What a cool little spot with friendly staff and the food is AMAZING. We tried dosa for the first time and it was so huge it was almost intimidating but somehow the whole thing quickly disappeared...so yummy. There are only a few tables so depending on the time of day it might be tough to get a spot.

VEGZ is a great place for someone to get a quick meal and run, it’s not terrible but it’s also not the best. The food here is normal, what you would expect at a general Indian restaurant, there isn’t really anything extra to expect. Service is good, they were moderately fast with delivering the food, and took orders often. Atmosphere is where this place doesn’t shine— the place was very congested with only 3 dining tables and 3 high seats. The dining tables were a bit low quality with ok seating. The restroom was not really that good, it was a bit dirty but it did its job. Overall I would recommend this place for fast dining, and not for a fine dining experience.

You don't go here for the ambiance, so let's just cross that off the list. You go here for a plate of the tastiest Indian in the area. It's vegetarian and some vegan, but don't let that stop you. Their dosas are just perfect. Huge, crispy, flavorful and the potato filling is spot on. I think the sambar is a bit too salty, but it's still very good. The prices are nice, as are the staff. It's not fine dining, but when you're hungry and want a nosh that's not a burger, stop in!

Genuinely one of the most incredible meals I’ve had in DC, ever. Everything was served steaming hot, and the flavors were unmatched. The paneer makhani, aloo gobi, and samosas were heaven-sent. Coming back here asap, and to bring all future visitors!

The best dosa I’ve had in a very long time. And the spring rolls!? Chefs kiss. Great service, incredible food - a local who sat next to me told me this is the best place to go to and I agree!
