Arepa Mia

So fresh, so clean. This spot is super clean and tidy, so that’s a couple stars there, but then you eat the food and it is just 🤩🤩! We loved it and have gone back 3 times now and tried different things. It’s very fresh and abundant! We’re fans!

Unfortunately, my experience at Arepa Mia wasn’t what I expected. The food lacked flavor, and it didn’t seem like authentic Venezuelan cuisine. The arepas and other dishes I tried didn’t capture that special touch that defines traditional Venezuelan food. If you’re looking for a true Venezuelan experience, I think there are better options to try.

This is not authentic Venezuelan food. They should definitely sell tequeños, even if they’re not gluten-free, because tequeños are one of the most iconic Venezuelan foods internationally. Also, the prices are way too high.

Absolutely delicious arepas, empanadas, and more!!! The staff is welcoming and helpful in guiding you through the menu. The papelón con limón (sugarcane juice w/lime - pictured) is SO refreshing!!!

My family had lunch here and we were blown away by how flavorful their food was. I personally ordered the chicharon arepa and the avocado and palm heart salad and they were both amazing- juicy, flavor in every bite and really satisfying. Service was exemplary. I highly recommend!

Authentic Venezuelan cuisine at its best! I loved the empanadas, flavorful sauces, Plato de Pollo, and Desayuno Criollo. The fresh juices were refreshing, and the customer service went above and beyond. A truly delightful experience!

100% Gluten-free. I love that. Food was delicious. Me and my wife don't eat Gluten or Dairy. Gluten was easy here because everything is Gluten-free. They were very accommodating on Dairy free options. They also have many Vegan items. We will be back again and again and again!

I came in hungry. I left questioning why I don’t live inside this restaurant. The arepas here are the stuff of dreams—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and stuffed with so much deliciousness that I briefly considered writing them a love letter. I had the Sifina Arepa Reina Pepiada and honestly, if that were a person, I’d propose.

Arepa Mia is not only immensely deserving of its spot on the Atlanta Michelin Guide but more than worthy of its Bib Gourmand award. Exceptional service, 100 score on inspection, and quality Venezuelan food for affordable prices. For those seeking excellent food on a tight budget, Arepa Mia is a wonderful option you won’t regret. I love coming here for date night as the ambiance is bustling without being overly busy with semi-dim lighting and a welcoming fun interior. This will forever be one of my favorite Atlanta spots that I recommend to everyone with a taste for the finest Venezuelan food.
