A ray of sunshine in a sea of dull flavors, Sunflour Bakery has left an outstanding impression on me every time I’ve made the trek. The establishment reflects the thoughtfulness and dedication that the owner puts into the making of each of her offerings. Be it their homemade soup of the day, their gourmet salads, or one of their hearty sandwiches, I’m always better off for having chosen here.

I've only ever had delicious food from here! You can tell the owner and staff and very passionate in what they do. The bread is the best!

Delicious and fresh!! The oatmeal cream pies are fabulous!

There is no establishment in Rome that puts more care and attention into the quality of their ingredients. I have never had an order from Sunflour that wasn't delicious. (bonus points for being woman-owned)

Quiche was hot and fresh. Try it with the El Yucateco hot sauce 🤘. French press coffee is strong so brace your palate.

Best sourdough I’ve ever had!

My mother went here and made an order for cranberry oatmeal cookies and cranberry orange relish. This is what she received for $4.50. 2 souffle cups with not even enough to put on a cracker and nothing more than a sample. When she confronted the lady working, the lady told her that she didn't have time to deal with the problem and she was short staffed. Cranberry oatmeal cookies barely had any cranberry in them and were nothing more than flour and oatmeal baked on a cookie sheet. I have wanted to try them out and when she said she was going here I asked her to get me something. That was a mistake and it will never happen again. I will say that if I had been in the store with her when she picked these items up I would have left with my refund or what I paid for there's no doubt. This time of year is not to be having an attitude about giving the customers what they pay for and telling them they don't have time to deal with the problem.
