Hungry Vegan

The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. My family and I are from Washington DC, and we were having a challenging time finding tasty vegan food. We were so glad to stumble across this gem. They also have amazing fresh juices. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was very inviting and the employees were very sweet. There was a nice spread of food options to choose from plus options in the back. I returned to my car with my plate and took one bite of everything. After doing so I had to return for the peach cobbler because everything was phenomenal. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

The food was phenomenal! I think the portions should be larger for the cost of the food but it was delicious. This place is a diamond in the rough though. I hope the owner gets an opportunity to grow outside of this location or the chance to renovate otherwise i HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business.

This is my new spot every time I am in Savannah! The best VEGAN food in the city. Fried mushrooms, mac and cheese, greens, and that blueberry cake!! Thank yall for the experience cant wait till next time!

No fluff, just flavorful food that’ll make even your most skeptical uncle say, “Wait, this vegan?!” We had the Big Vegan Soul plate with oyster mushrooms and the Mac & Cheese — and let me tell you, it didn’t taste like a “meatless version” of anything. It just tasted good. Seasoned right, cooked fresh, and served by folks who clearly love what they do. The vibe? Chill. Local. Black-owned. And if you know me, you know I’m always rooting for businesses that look like us and feed us right. Great vegan food is hard to find, but Hungry Vegan is definitely the spot to get a great meal! Their entire menu is filled with delicious plant based options cooked with lots of love and soul. My favorite was the collard greens, spaghetti, and mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned to absolute perfection. This place will not disappoint! Highly recommended!!!

I came to town for the holidays and see that this restaurant is temporarily closed. Your food is fantastic, and the community needs you back!
