PLANT GOSSIP / ORVEGANIC KITCHEN

Long time Orveganic fan and always lamented their distance from me... Gratefully they are now open in Couer d'Alene - only a one day drive from the raw/vegan food desert that is Seattle! Worth it 100%. Eating whole foods intentionally is a life-changer, and it's a joy to find a restaurant that lives by the same values. (Also, the food tastes wonderful.)

Loved absolutely everything. I tried the Spicy Italian Sloppy Mash Burger. It was marvelous. The house made almond milk is simply divine.

Amazing all natural food! We had a non-dairy cheesecake and nutrient packed shake and both were delicious. I'd like to come back and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

If you are plant based/vegan and gluten-free or just like to eat healthy this place is a must visit! At most veggie friendly restaurants, if I'm lucky a menu might have at most a couple items that are both vegan and gluten-free, or can be with a couple substitutions. And this might not necessarily be a healthy option--think veggie burger with gf bun--with the vegan and GF "tax" of course. At Plant Gossip, it was such a delight to look at the entire menu knowing I could eat anything on it, and the food is organic, healthy, made from scratch, AND we quickly found out--absolutely delicious, with good portion sizes. My greatest regret is I don't live in Coeur d'Alene or I'd eat here every day.

Amazing delicious vegan food!

Leave any pre-conceived cynical notions you may have about healthy plant, legumes, nut, seed, and fruit based entrees, soups, and sides as not delicious. This incredible gem will blow you away with the savory, wholesome flavors, and a creative selection of beer & wine if desired. My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and tried what became the best split pea soup of all time after decades of consuming what we thought was the best - literally indescribable the savory deliciousness - fulfilling but not filling - we actually felt energized after eating big bowls! The baked on premises nutritious milled I think I recall onsite warmed bread was arguably the best ever - nutty flavor of goodness. We added some Virgin HellBoy Crunchy trail mix Brazil nut butter on the bread and we're in disbelief as our palettes told us it was a delightful symphony of flavors. The Maple Almond Mealk drink was hands down delicious - I've never found any almond milk that I would say is delicious - this is all that and left you wanting more! Packed with protein and other goodness - what we enjoyed was just a small sampling of the menu - can't wait to try the rest! The owner Michael visited with us and his vision and history with his food journey are genuine and speak through his creations. We are hooked and will order from his online store to ship to or home a few hundred miles away. Imagine feeling light and well after eating a fulfilling meal - no sluggishness, simply energized. Come enjoy this amazing delicious experience!

All organic! Vegan! Delicious! This is the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Organic and biodynamic wine! Organic, gluten free-free beer from Belgium! Awesome service. Even meat-eaters will find plenty to enjoy.
