I took a star away only because they seated us in a booth with a bunch of duct tape on the seat. So that was a bit uncomfortable. Also. It was just my husband and I then a large party with crying children came in. So many open tables but they were seated right behind us. That was a bit annoying as we couldn’t even talk because they were so loud. Now for the good stuff. The food was absolutely delicious! I have egg and dairy allergies so it’s not always easy to find places to accommodate me especially for breakfast. The vegan chocolate chip pancakes were so delicious! The tofu was just as good and breakfast potatoes. Yum!! The coffee was good as well. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Great food and service

I went here with my wife as it was next to the hotel that I’m staying at. I knew I was not in for a great experience based upon the menu. I found the food just to be lacking and a very uninspired café menu. Food was very basic. I wouldn’t say bland, but I wouldn’t say the dish that I had drunken chicken was incredibly well seasoned. They were missing a couple of menu items that day. The service gives three stars because everybody was friendly. They give you pitcher of water and sort of leave you alone. I probably would have got another beer, but she never asked.

My favorite local place! Lots of veggie options (breakfast, lunch, and dinner!), super cool staff - shoutout to Peyton et al, and Italian sodas! Patio available in good weather, artsy tables inside, new specials each month. UPDATE FROM JULY 2025- The sunshine salad is back (roasted peaches, romaine, basil, candied walnuts, goat cheese, onion, absolutely heavenly) and lovely Julien reminded me it had been since last year when it was a special, but we adore it, and I think it should be on the menu year round pleaseeee. I got mine with tofu and forgot to take a picture beforehand bc I just ate the yumminess lol

If you have food allergies or are vegan, you NEED to visit! My son has severe allergies to egg, dairy, and peanuts, and we had so many wonderful options to choose from. We look for vegan places to accommodate his allergies, but want real meat also. This place has both!! My husband and I had been here once before and couldn't wait to bring our 2 year old son to try it today. He absolutely loved the vegan chocolate chip pancakes (with vegan butter), and the weekend brunch option of banana nut french toast (pictured). It was delicious- the best I've ever had! The staff was so friendly/helpful with his allergies. It was so refreshing to be able to relax at a restaurant and enjoy the food we were ordering. 1000/10 recommend. We will be back!

The food is good and their pricing is very affordable. I ordered one of their pizzas but the bread was too thin for the amount of red sauce and it’s toppings. There is also an outside sitting option! I wouldn’t recommend this place for any other meal other than breakfast. There are some vegan options as well!

Pick Me Up Cafe is a cozy spot with a quirky vibe. Dropped about $25 on the "Clown Combo" and a cappuccino. The combo was a hearty plate of pancakes, eggs, toast, and bacon—classic comfort food. Cappuccino was decent, nothing fancy. Service was friendly, though a bit slow during the weekend rush. Great place for a laid-back brunch, especially if you're in the mood for something filling.
