How have i not reviewed the best place with the greatest owner!! If you want great healthy food made with love, this is the place to go!!!

Definitely a must visit. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. As a vegetarian I really enjoyed the flavor and portion of the meal (had the nachos, best I’ve ever had). Even my family who don’t have any food restrictions enjoyed the food. 10/10 would definitely recommend a visit!

While their food is fresh, raw & delicious. There isn't a feasible option for you to carry out your food to enjoy at home. I drive nearly an hour to eat here, but today I was working in the neighborhood and decided to a stop in and grab my food to go. I ordered the taco salad, but asked if I could have another container rather than the compostable ones they have available(the toppings soak into the container). I was then informed that all the plastic is only to be used for catering. I was then offered an option to put the toppings on the side, which I agreed would be a fair option. But, in order to get the toppings on the side I would have to pay an additional fee of $1.50 because they had to use additional containers to place the toppings in. The entire encounter was disappointing and disheartening. So, I figured I'd just order something else instead. But, I decided to leave instead. I couldn't comfortably pay for food here if I couldn't get what I want & be charged as if I'm causing them an inconvenience for being a frequent customer. I'll be taking a break from this restaurant for awhile. I have to save up my gas money to afford to take my order to go. EDIT.... Gotta love when an owner addresses you and works out different ways to solve this issue going forward. Right back to a 5 star!!!!

My favorite raw vegan place In IL. Staff is so nice and friendly! I have ordered 3 cheesecakes for parties and they are hands down amazingly delicious!

Simply wow! Food was light and flavorful. First time eating vegan food and was pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted very fresh too.

Food was delicious, and customer service was amazing! Wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back! Truly a memorable meal!

Went for a meetup dinner so I got to try a lot of the items …the flavors were outstanding!!! Very friendly owner and cozy restaurant! She held a demo for us to show us some amazing recipes. It was a wonderful evening! #Veganuary

how can you go wrong with raw, gourmet, delicious, healthy, cruelty free vegan food? Marguerite the owner is a very talented, amazing chef and a wonderful host who has personal experience at how a raw vegan diet can prevent, treat and even cure many serious health conditions. the vegan cafe is a real gem and i cannot recommend it highly enough!
