Food was okay. Took over an hour to be served, and when it came out the fruit had obviously suffered cold damage and the toast was ... basically warmed bread. One piece of salmon Benedict was missing a salmon patty. I really want to love this place because it's so cute, but this is the third time I've been here and it's been mediocre at best. 🙃 We spent about $80, so about $20 per person. I don't think it was worth that when I couldn't even eat half my food because it was bad quality. We also saw our waitress maybe three times in the two hours (!) we were there. It wasn't terribly busy at the time, either.

We have been to Nashville many times but this was a first for Bird's Nest. The food was delicious. No complaints from my boss's (Ages: 13, 7 and 5) I have been in the service industry for years, Quentin was hands down the best server we have ever had. Anyone is so lucky to have them employed for them. We will be back just to see them! Thank you!

Sunday morning, I'm passing through Nashville and stop here for a nice breakfast. I'm alone and while the restaraunt was busy, and mostly full, I offered to sit at their bar for my meal. The not so bright hostess told me I'd have to wait to order for 30 minutes so that the kitchen staff was not overwhelmed and she would need to get authorization from the cooks to let me order an eggs benedict! I was stunned. How unprofessional and situationally unaware can this place get? I just looked at this poor, pathetic girl and looked around at the people who just experienced the interaction, and said goodbye, laughing. Had a great meal right next door at The Ferguson House. Coffee was superb and the food and atmosphere was perfect. Thank you to the brain dead hostess for sending me on my way....it was a great trade up. Her boss must love to read this.......Sunday, June 29, 9:50am....

Very nice place Food was great, and the service was excellent Handled a last-minute lunch for us, and we had 5 kids. Very patient and accommodating.

So eclectically cool and cozy inside with cottage-y gardens and a gazebo outdoors. Had the best sandwich - grilled turkey, bacon, avocado, with chipotle aioli- perfect combination of flavors, very fresh. Great strawberry matcha and my husband said the espresso was very good. The broccoli quiche was a great texture with good crust but wasn't very flavorful. Overall we loved it and plan to return!

Food was delicious but they run out of the specialties way too fast. We all want the French toast!!! Hated to miss it since that's why we went but the other food was really good. Will definitely go back in hopes they have a larger amount for people that stroll in at noon.

We went at 1:00 on a Wednesday and it was bad from the start. No one was at the desk so we went to seat ourselves and a waitress immediately yelled at us that they would seat us which is fine but with no sign we didn’t know. But others came in and seated themselves. Next we waited 45 minutes for our food if we knew that upfront we would have gone somewhere else because the shops close at 5. We started to order and everything we had chosen was gone so finally ordered. Our little one ordered and we asked for fruit as his side, when meal was delivered she said the menu changed and they no longer give a child a side. My turkey avocado sandwich had such hard bacon, overcooked turkey and it was dry even though I asked for mayo on it. The fries were also overcooked and hard. The waitress didn’t do a good job and the kitchen did worse. Visiting from MN hoping to take my family for a nice lunch 3 adults and 1 child should not be that difficult to serve. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE!!!
