Excellent experience there today– the romesco bowl was terrific and it’s a clean, bright, and comfortable storefront space. The soup was on the pricey side for the portion size, but again overall would definitely return and so great to have such a healthy option!

My husband and I love Blazing Star for weekend brunch. Fresh ingredients and lots of flavor! The location is perfect if you plan on spending the day in downtown Decorah.

We had the cilantro corn salad and the chipotle bowl. The food looked amazing, and we were excited to dig in, but ended up disappointed. The salad was served over rice, which was fine, but was a surprise since it's not listed as such on the menu. Meanwhile, both the salad and the bowl were missing ingredients (scallions and pepitas on one, red radishes on the other). The veggies were fresh and flavorful, but we didn't care for either of the sauces.
