Spice N Rice

Wanting to try something new, I ordered the chicken tikka (boti) wrap and absolutely loved it. It was reasonably priced, and perfectly cooked and seasoned. As a bonus, it took hardly any time to prepare. Definitely coming back soon!

I give this restaurant an overall 1 star. The food was good but every time i have come here to dine in i always have an issue with the service i receive. My partner and i decided to eat here she got the chicken tikka masala, but didn’t really like it so we sent it back. She decided she wanted to try the chicken curry but wasn’t too fond of that either, so we sent that back because why keep it if you aren’t going to eat it? The server was very understanding and took it back. I asked her for the check, she brought it to me and it was wrong so i kindly asked to speak to a manager, i explained that i had asked her to take back the chicken curry, and told him since we aren’t going to eat it, and it’s gone can it be taken off the bill he became visibly frustrated and started to argue with me, telling me that my partner said she liked it and i would have to pay for it, why would i pay for something that i don’t have that was sent back? The manager was very unprofessional and i will not be coming back.

A Hidden Gem for Flavorful Halal Cuisine – Spince N Rice Recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best halal restaurants I’ve visited in a long time. The ambience of the Restaurant was totally different and much better than other Halal Restaurant’s.

It was all so delicious I had some great lamb and chicken and the sauce was great. I went with about 5 friends and they all loved what they had. I got curry and it was very good. The survive was quick and water was never empty. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well. My fiancé is vegetarian and lots of vegetarian options. Chicken 65 and cabbage 65 I think I can’t 100% remember it was a vegetable version both very good.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Spice N Rice! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations—which turned out to be spot-on. Every dish we ordered arrived hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked and packed with vibrant veggies and tender chicken, the garlic naan was soft with the perfect char and loaded with flavor, and the paneer butter masala was rich, creamy, and comforting. Can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommend!

Spice N Rice is absolutely amazing! I ordered the chicken biryani and the chicken fried rice, and both dishes were bursting with flavor, color, and incredible texture. The food was absolutely delicious — every bite was a treat. The service was also excellent — super friendly and attentive. I truly enjoyed eating here, and everything was just perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food at spice and rice is absolutely amazing best in Kansas City and the service is always wonderful the environment is very welcoming one of my favorites

I ordered 4 naans and they were all birned on the bottom. Samosas overpriced and only so-so. Food ok. Service fast.

Just had a fantastic lunch at Spice N Rice in Overland Park! Their Butter Chicken was incredible – creamy, flavorful, and the chicken was so tender. Service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for a delicious non-veg Indian lunch, definitely check this place out. Highly recommend!
