Sweet Soulfood

Sweet Soulfood is an absolute gem in New Orleans! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and soul. The okra gumbo was rich and comforting, with the perfect amount of spice. The jambalaya had so much depth—it was hearty, satisfying, and completely plant-based, which blew our minds. And don’t even get me started on the cauliflower—perfectly seasoned and roasted to perfection. What made the experience even better was the amazing service. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. You can feel the love in both the food and the atmosphere. Whether you're vegan or just looking for incredible food, this spot is a must. We’ll be back every time we’re in New Orleans!

Consistency good food! Makes me feel great about eating cleaner. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. If I could afford it, I’d eat here everyday lol. The orange glazed cauliflower and stuffed bell peppers are my favorites!

Staff was super friendly :) I was not a fan at all of the macaroni, it’s not bad but mediocre—could use more flavor. The okra gumbo is so worth trying, and the Philly pasta (I think it was called) was bussin. I rated the atmosphere a 3 star because they could use some music. The staff is really sweet. Also this is niche but I really appreciated how the tables are bolted down to the floor so the table is very sturdy.

This was the BEST experience I had while in NOLA! The customer service was on point and the food was even better! It was so good I went back for more 3 times before I left the parking lot thinking I was going to take some back on the road with me, but it didn't make it lol! I will be back!

The sweet heat chili cauliflower was good, but there was no heat. Could've used a little more spice. But it's a great place to get some comfort food.

We loved our food! I had the friend behind the counter chose for me and it was all good. Okra gumbo, jambalaya, cauliflower and bread pudding. Husband got the cornbread stuffing, collard greens, Mac and cheese and sweet potato. His favorite was collards and Mac and cheese. Lovely staff. Thanks
