Otto's on the River

My first time at Otto’s and it was absolutely fabulous!!! It started with the greeting, then the service and the food…. I cannot express how wonderful everything we ate was. We will definitely be back. I am looking forward to trying the Filet!! This place is a must try!

This was our first time here, let me just say it won’t be the last! The service was incredible, and the food was out of this world! We can’t wait to return.

Absolutely fantastic place. The food is awesome and the people are great. Very friendly and kind. We asked a lot of questions and they answered them all. Should be on one of those food network shows.

Reviews are well earned, outatanding food and service. Our waitress Jackie was fantastic, she made us feel like we were eating at a friend's home. Update, we're back a year later - the food's even better! The fillet is out of this world!

Haddock sandwich with house made chips was awesome!! Thanks again Sue for all the hospitality, owner came over to shake my hand just for coming in. High class food & top notch people! Can't wait to go back!

What an absolute joke of a restaurant. The fact that oysters are anywhere near this restaurant absolutely terrifies me. Not only was there barely any oyster in the shell, (wouldn’t be surprised if they cut them in half and reused the shells) but there was more capers in the shell than actual oyster. Nor was there any communication about capers being on the oysters on the menu, our waitress never mentioned anything either until they were delivered at our table. I took a couple days to cool off but it’s still irking me that I spent 33 for 12 oysters. Not only the lack of oyster but the server stuck her fingers in the oyster to grab a piece of shell. I’m absolutely disgusted and hope no one eats here.

We stopped and stayed in Augusta during our vacation. We were looking for a local food restaurant and came here. We ordered chicken Mursala and Salmon pasta. The food was average or less than average and overpriced. They charged cup of hot water. Salad was good. Also, restaurant doesn’t have any AC. The owner opened the windows for us, but still felt warm inside.

My favorite restaurant on Water St. Excellent service and food. Best atmosphere too!

Absolutely incredible customer service, great food, incredible establishment. The staff are absolutely wonderful - and accommodated to my allergies. We made a last minute stop along our journey stumbling across Otto’s, an incredible experience for my birthday. Would recommend to everyone! We have absolutely no complaints. The owner is very kind :)
