I just stopped by and had a quick bite. The food was great 👍

The music was too loud on this place. I could not understand a word that the employee spoke. And then you can't build your salad. Who the hell wants a salad created by the business??? If that's the case,then they should be free!!! The employee uses his hands pick up the salad greens...after he dealing with unrelated good handling ....eeeew.

Sorry... I really wanted to leave a good review here - for several reasons. Mainly because it's a Black-owned business, in a great location, and offering me the promise of a healthy lunch while serving on jury duty downtown. Unfortunately, this salad-specialty restaurant was out of the basic ingredients to make most of the salads available on their menu. No suggestions or help from the Staff, so I ended up ordering something concocted on the fly, and almost inedible. First impressions count for me. It is unlikely I'll stop here again.

Love the Caesar salad but the croutons are way too salty now.

Half the staff were incredibly rude. They had run out of some really basic things they offer by noon, and they didn't clearly indicate that items had run out with signs or anything. On the other end of the poor customer service spectrum, I asked for an item on the menu and a staff member said they didn't have it, even though they actually did have it. When I asked her about other items on the menu, she did not seem to know what they were and quickly became agitated, interrupting my questions and raising her voice at me. Some other customers had come in right after me and I understand the lunch rush may be stressful, but this was wildly unprofessional. Then then person who rang me up, who I think may have been a manager, tossed my salad bowl on the counter with a lot of attitude and did not give me a fork. The only forks in the whole place were behind the register (unlike the napkins, straws, cups, and lids which were out in the open) so I had to circle back and ask for one. Their tables wobble all over the place. When you use their soda fountain, it leaks all over your hand. The food was fine but incredibly overpriced. Eat elsewhere. Quick update like 5 minutes after posting since I just read similar experiences in other reviews and I forgot to mention- they only filled my bowl halfway, and it was mostly spinach. So yeah, very very overpriced and not worth the bad vibes

This was my first time trying this place and I honestly loved the food. They placed spicy ranch on my salad by accident and even that was extremely good lol. Definitely wish they had a location in pg county.

Went there today for lunch and the Caesar dressing was watery.nit good at all I wasted $14.00

I’ve been eating at Nalley Fresh for years. They always have had good portions of healthy food at an affordable price. Today I had to “make my own” sweet potato bowl on Grubhub. It cost significantly more than it used to. When it arrived, the bowl was at least 1/2 the usual size with 1/2 the toppings. I also did not get the extra chicken that I ordered. Goodbye Nalley Fresh. It was good while it lasted. Chopt has much larger servings at better prices.

Raising prices && now charging for bags?! Pathetic -_- I’ve been going here for years and the loyalty program changed too 9/18/23 update: I went in yesterday for a salad and the light skin heavy set man w/ the longer hair made it. Usually he is friendly and courteous. This day he was slow & made my salad while texting! He didn’t use that same texting hand for my food, but he was slow to respond to my ingredients! When I’d speak up and reiterate what I wanted, he looked at me as if I was bothering him, with an attitude. I thought he’d get the hint w/ my tone and the way I looked at him but he continued to be on his phone WHILE making my salad. Unacceptable! I’m taking a long break from this location smh 4/17/2024 Y’all probably like why this person keep going back. Well I won’t anymore. I went there the other day and this boy made the skimpiest salad ever. When I asked him to add more toppings, he said the owner was there and he couldn’t. So!! It’s a $15 salad! Don’t be stingy w/ ingredients! I didn’t even want extra anything! Just regular portions. The manager was not there that day; just the short boy. I was so madd. I should have taken a pic. It was only like 4 small cut pieces of chicken. When I wanted more he said no so I asked for beans for more protein. Skimp on the damn lettuce too! The clear container was not even half way full! No exaggeration!! I told him it was the skimpiest ever and he only offered a little more lettuce to supplement. Literally the WORST SALAD I EVER HAD BECAUSE HE WAS BEING SCARED FOR NO REASON. It’s ok though; I will NOT be back ever to this location.

Gave this place a try while on Jury duty. Got the Asian bowl with blackened chicken on brown rice. There was a line out the door, but service itself was fast once I got to the counter. The food itself was delicious, healthy and very filling. Note: the juror website says the juror special is an entree combo (chips + drink) for 10$. It's actually just a flat 20% off. Given the quality of the food, still a very good deal.
