We visited on Monday night as a group of 6 plus our 6 month old before going to an event at the zoo. It was such a cozy atmosphere - a lovely accompaniment to a grey misty evening. My wife and I shared the lamb shank platter with rice/chickpeas/pumpkin, and an order of eggplant. It was all excellent, and perfect for making small soft bites for the baby! A few of us ordered the ginger turmeric tea, and the kind gentleman brought cups for everyone! At the end, he asked about the baby and gave us a dessert for her, which was actually great because it was only slightly sweet, faintly scented with some kind of herb or spice, and was just soft enough for the baby to try but firm enough to keep its form when giving her bites. Overall, I definitely recommend Spring Cafe. We were made to feel welcome & right at home, especially with the little one and how much space we took up!

This place was amazing! The owner was so kind and the food was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed the small and close atmosphere of it. We even bought a handmade pillowcase to take home 🥰

The worst Afghan food I ever had. I ordered Lamb shank platter and 5 mantoo and a can of drink. The chick peas were uncooked, the rice were not fully cooked and lamb shack had a extremely strong smell. The mantoo were mediocre. Our total was $42. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is authentic and the owner makes you feel at home. I had the Kabul Chaynaki and Kabul Kaddo, which were fantastic. I’d highly recommend stopping in here if you’re anywhere close to the area.

Such a cute hole in the wall. Our food was delicious and we all felt comfortable. We all drew little pictures on post-it notes to put on the wall. Lovely.
