Huge portions, affordable price, nicest owners and everything is vegan! It’s my new favorite lunch place!!!

My friends and I went here with time to spare before seeing a show at Roadrunner. The server/host administered amazing customer service—as if our dinner order was of the utmost importance. They were eating iced, freezer pops all throughout their shift, which was deeply endearing—and deeply necessary as it was humid in the food-hall!! They recommended a noodle dish that was divine. I also recommend the “No Name” dish—decadently glutinous. While you’re at Grasshopper, hop across the aisle to a place with the most fresh—and most delicious—scallion pancakes. This food-hall is awesome—and, seemingly, underrated. Go there!

Delicious food, varied buffet, incredibly kind service. Hidden gem!

Best vegan Asian food I have had on my vegan food travels thus far! All the authentic non vegan flavors you crave served with a welcoming smile and sweet, caring energy from the staff. There is also a wall where customers have wrote about their expirence throughout the years and it was very touching to read.

Everything from beginning to end was good. The food was delicious. The service was good. They are kid friendly. My children give it a 10 out of 10.

We were only in Boston for a short time and went here for a Mother’s Day lunch. It was incredible having a menu of all vegan/vegetarian meals as most restaurants do not have a lot of veggie options usually when dining out. We were overwhelmed by the choice! We got the “Happy Family” dish with rice, fried tofu dumplings, imitation shrimp with stir fry veggies, a rice noodle dish and even a vegan cheesecake slice. The dining area is more of a food court style seating in a building with a few other restaurants inside. It’s not fancy but that does not bother us. They have disposable cups for water, but they still serve you hot tea and bring the food to the table, as well as cleaning the table afterwards. The server and kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating. If we were staying in Boston longer we would definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. This is an excellent choice of restaurant if you are looking for something low key for a group with vegetarian or vegan dietary restrictions. They have a lot of imitation meat options so it’s great for meat lovers who are looking to try something different too!

Great tasting asian vegan food. Highly recommend for all vegans and vegetarians. Especially do not miss the ridiculously cheap all-you-can-eat buffet third Sunday of every month.

If you're looking for generous portions of delicious food, made fast, but still fresh and done well, this is the place!! This might be the best vegan chinese food in New England. My husband has been craving a lot of these dishes but unable to find vegan friendly replacements, until now. We live in RI but 100% will be back.
