Not Ya Mama's Vegan Cafe

I wish they didn't close at 4 and/or did not close the kitchen before they even close. Bummer. Had to get a generic turkey sub, visiting from PA, was super excited to check them out. Staff was friendly enough. Just disappointed we didn't get to try anything.

Love this place - everything is incredible, especially the chicken.

Tried the Beast AF breakfast sandwich. Would highly recommend. Got an iced chai too. Loved it. They had 5 different non dairy milk options. I plan to go back to try the west coast Reuben.

So excited to have NYM in Salem!

Went with my fiancé yesterday and both our food items weren't made the way we wanted, but were still kinda decent overall (I ordered mine without the aioli and cheese and it had both still 🤦🏻‍♂️). Because of the long-ish wait (around 20ish minutes) I didn't want to ask for a replacement since our time was limited during our visit. However we are going to come back and try some other things since finding vegan places (especially in Salem) are pretty tough to come by. Hopefully the next time we're there the food is more to what we were looking for 🙏🏻

OMG so yummy! I got the buffalo chicken salad and my husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich plus macaroni and cheese! Absolutely delicious and the he/him taking our order was so nice! Highly recommend!

I’m not even vegan and I would choose this burger over any beef or turkey. It’s absolutely delicious! Best burger I’ve ever had! Staff is friendly and socially conscious. Even if you don’t normally like vegan options give it a try! It’s definitely worth it.

Loved the Italian sub I got. I guess it took longer than they expected because I also got two free donuts for being patient! Can't wait to go back to try the steak and cheese. Staff was patient and very kind. I recommend to anybody, not just vegans

By and large, we liked what we had ordered. The BLT was very good, had great flavor. Sweet potato fries were delicious. The buffalo chick'n tasted good but the coleslaw caused the bun to disintegrate rather quickly -- and with the chick'n patty being almost an inch thick, it wasn't very easy to eat the sandwich quickly enough. The cherry lemonade didn't have much flavor for me but my friend liked it. The service left a little to be desired. Although the cashier was very friendly, they forgot part of our order. Also, the order took a while to arrive.
