Rise is my favorite bakery in Grand Rapids by far!! They made my wedding cake and the whole process went so smoothly! I love their donuts and yum tarts, and the staff is so friendly and helpful!

As a person who is gluten-free, I am EXTREMELY pleased that I never have to sacrifice flavor for the pastries and yummy cupcakes at RISE. Finding quality, EDIBLE/TASTY baked goods that are gluten-free can be very challenging but not here. This place is amazing! The staff is also very friendly and it’s also very easy to do a custom cake order. Expectations exceeded—BRAVO!!! :)

Our daughter was just diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and we're doing an extremely challenging elimination diet... this place was a dream come true! What we've tried so far is delicious, and staff were so helpful and kind! The atmosphere is so intentionally considerate and welcoming to all - love the decor and vibe too! Can't wait to return soon!!

I’m not vegan or gluten free, but this place has the absolute best donuts. Something about the glaze is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. I would genuinely eat 2-3 daily if that was a smart choice for my health and wallet. I’m so obsessed. If you haven’t tried them yet, what are you doing with your life. On a side note, the atmosphere is amazing, baristas are super friendly, and the coffee is delicious. Make sure you grab a coffee and donut punch card and start earning some freebies :)

They have a lot of options which is great, however the popular stuff sells out quick so get there early. Like a lot of GF bakeries I feel like the donuts are a little heavy on the frosting side...I'd love to see just a stellar cake donut with minimal toppings or just peanuts...like a "nutty" donut. At the beginning they were fantastic, but the quality seems to bounce around a lot. One day great, the next it's ok. Like most bakeries these days the prices are pretty sky high. But hey, I'm gf and dairy free so...glad we have this choice!

Food was good, glad to have another place that caters to celiac. Service was attentive. But they lost a star due to their posters and decor on the front entry. I'll agree with other people here, the storefront might not be the place to display your based opinions.. That being said, I'm not sure i feel comfortable supporting this business or Fika (their newly opened restaurant). But other than that, it's worth one visit.
