If you are in the mood for a delicious lunch with fresh ingredients and sandwiches as big as your head, stop by the Rustic Bluebird in downtown Romeo. The food is amazing, I had the All In Bowl and a cup of Lobster Bisque with a Twisted Strawberry Lemonade with Strawberry Boba (and a cute little duck and inspirational decoration on my cup to make me smile). My wife had the half chicken salad sandwich on multigrain (still a giant sandwich) with the Lemon rice soup and a pomegranate boba drink. The space is decorated with small town charm, you can dine in, sit on the porch, or take your food to go. Stop by today and enjoy the tasty food!

Cute new place (outdoor patio and gathering options too) that really portrays small town/small business USA ! Adorable and unique charm. You can order off their menu. Or walk it and they have many of premade options. Small and large portions. The food is so fresh and just straight up delicious! Keep up the great work THBM! 🪺

First time here. Saw good reviews on Google and pictures look good. My wife and I went in. The restaurant is an old style beautiful house. You place your order at the counter and have a seat inside or out on the porch (big porch). They bring the food to you at your seat. They know who orders what so no need to have a card or anything identifying who you are. Very family orientated. Ordered a half Fiesta Bowl and half avocado sandwich. Both were great. The bowl was so big I thought they gave me a full bowl but they said that was a half! It was so good! Highly recommend it. My wife's sandwich was great also she said. If every in Romeo Michigan area you have to stop here

Excellent location. Sad the Almont location is no longer serving. But this is a wonderful place. Clean, friendly and amazing food.

Phenomenally good food. Today, I had the chicken cranberry walnut sandwich. One of my faves!! The sandwich is piled high & wide!! Accompanying that, a delicious cold chai tea!! Their soups are tasty AND their fresh baked breads are ah-mazing!! Plus, there's a salad bar & all kinds of beverages! Dine-in, carry out, delivery or grab something premade from the huge variety in the bank of coolers. There's even online ordering. Oh yeah, save room for dessert!!

Do you ever just crave REAL food? Well, then, just stop on it! I haven’t tried everything yet, but I’m getting close. This place is amazing. The quality and amount of food is wild! Highly recommended! Worth the drive. It reminded me of the east coast, like I was eating in a quant bed and breakfast in Connecticut. IYKYK.

Super cute with unique sale items. Not a lot of seating, more of a carry out vibe.

My husband and I chose The Rustic Blue Bird to cater for our wedding this past September, and when people ask what my favorite part of my wedding was- it was the FOOD!! - this is all our guest talk about still as well as the huge charcuterie board we did for cocktail hour. Any vision you have Deanna can make it happen, on top of being so easy to work with and so sweet!! We recommend RBB for all your catering needs- we will never go anywhere else!! ❤️❤️ Thank you RBB!

This place has great salads and sandwiches. We used to really enjoy dining at the old location near the intersection of Van Dyke and 32 Mile, which had a great atmosphere and indoor seating. We would dine there once or twice a week and loved it. Then in 2020 they shut down for a long time. When they finally opened back up, it was take out only, which was very disappointing because we do not live in Romeo. We used to drive half an hour to dine there, but did not want to drive that far just to pick up a sandwich and drive back home to eat it. There are two locations now, but it's not the same. It's still mostly take out, with just a handful of tables outside where you have to put up with the flies at the Almont location, or a little cubby hole at that great big house in Romeo or outside by a food truck. If you'll notice, all the great pictures of the dining experience in the reviews were posted at least 4 years ago. Outside of their catering business there is really no comfortable or enjoyable dining like they used to have. The girl in Romeo said my favorite, the French dip, isn't even available at the Romeo location. The food is probably still great, but we wouldn't know because we haven't eaten there since they closed to indoor dining. Please bring back a nice indoor dining experience. Your food is too good to just relegate it to an inferior and uncomfortable dining experience.
