My wife and I went here on a date night recently and the new-look menu and restaurant were amazing. We split the pork belly fried rice and both enjoyed it even more than the original fried rice from the food truck days. Highly recommend!!

We called to place an order and an employee lied and said they were closed over the phone. My husband I were a block away so decided to go check, and they were completely open. Really weird behavior.

Tried Wheelhouse for our anniversary dinner last night. Food, atmosphere and service were all terrific. We had made a reservation so our table was ready on time and prepared with a special vase of flowers and a card to welcome us. They pay attention to the details which made for a unique and memorable experience. We highly recommend and we will be going back!

We used to go to the Wheelhouse when it was a part of the hotel. They had some great menu items when they were there. Although they kept a few original items there were also new items. We went for lunch and it was much different than their other location. It's in historic downtown and the decor is more geared towards a nice sit down experience vs the fast casual experience at the hotel. They did well with the decor. They staff is super friendly, very helpful in answering questions, and attentive to their customer base. However, the quality of the food was slightly different than what we experienced when they were at the hotel. Not sure what happened, but I think they are still adjusting to the new location and adjusting to the menu changes. We felt the good was more tasty at the previous location. The prices are slightly more expensive and the portions are a little bit smaller. We would be willing to give it another try after a couple of months, Again, the service was great and it's a lovely location just waiting see how things go.

Not a fan of the new menu. New tofu, new peanut sauce, and new drunken noodles are very sub par and over priced. The service is nice though.

The Wheelhouse has ditched its food-truck roots for a brick-and-mortar downtown, but it still cooks like closing time is five minutes away. A trio of seasonal salsas and blistered chips starts the ride—equal parts smoke, tang, and late-night bad decision. Thai Basil Chicken follows with perfume and fire, cooled only by a bracing house pickle, while the vermicelli bowl—tangled noodles, to-die-for tofu, and a lime-funk nuoc cham—tastes like a plastic-stool lunch in Ho Chi Minh City. Then the Drunken Noodles land, rice sheets drenched in chile-jam chaos and wok char that sticks to your memory as much as your teeth; even the tofu option swags like pork belly. Springfield has plenty of comfort food, but almost nowhere else you can time-travel between Bangkok and the Sonoran desert in two bites. Tab stays under a Franklin, sweat beads on your brow, and you leave already plotting the next round of salsa.
