Food was good, presented very nicely, in large portions and they have very creative takes on items.

DON'T GO if you have allergies or want to host an event here. The manager and staff ruined a birthday party that I spent 4 months planning. I communicated with Rado several weeks in advance and always had to call after days of no follow up to my emails. He confirmed they could do a private buffet party accommodating our allergies. They did not have the tables prepared as agreed. The manager did not know what a buffet was so they served a banquet and HE decided (without talking to me) to serve it an hour late. Serving food during our murder mystery (that we paid to host there on a specific schedule) pulled focus and led to a subpar experience. The bartender MISLED my friends to believe it was an open bar and we were all very upset with the bill. Worst of all, they served food with ALLERGENS that led to me suffering for hours during and after my party!! Even the replacement salad they brought had allergens because it made me sick to eat the leftovers that night. The staff were often not around and we had to wait around for service. They presented my cake with the top layer slid inches to the side!! They left my cupcakes and fruit in the fridge, never served. I had to wait for a while at the end to get them back. ALL of these things were covered in the email I sent to the manager in advance, which he confirmed. When I called to speak to the manager Rado about my disappointment, he had the gall to raise his voice at me when I had not even raised mine!! He said his decision was better for my party! I had to explain what a buffet is to him... He apologized and reimbursed us the 20% tip they included and the salads with allergens. I wish I had asked for a discount on the drinks as well since they decided that I was paying for everyone's "unlimited" drinks... Mind you, I told the bartender after a few minutes that everyone was going to have separate tabs for their drinks and he did not listen. Over $2k and 4 months put into my milestone birthday and they left me with a horrible experience.

Listen man, the food was good but do not plan an event here. Like, the communication with the people who work there is unacceptable. We had planned a birthday party with this restaurant that severely had to go off WITHOUT A HITCH and lo and behold, hitching did occur. To the point where my partner, the birthday…person had to deal with an allergic reaction in the middle of THEIR OWN BIRTHDAY PARTY. It was ridiculous and [expletive] unacceptable. I dont ever want to give a restaurant less than 3 stars because i know it can be difficult to run one but this is not right.

I don't really like eating in the vibe of a badly decorated pop bar during day hours. It's so unreasonably dark in there. It looks like a nightclub with chairs. The food is overpriced relative to the quality. The meal was very bland and relies a lot on meat substitutions and diner-like recipes rather than well crafted flavors and plant ingredients. Actually, I've gotten much better food for a quarter of the price at vegan diners upstate. I don't know, I feel like it's trying to sell "upscale" but it's just depressing all around. It's disappointing to go out and realize that I can make a more enjoyable meal at home with better atmosphere.

Andrea was a great server. Food is a bit overpriced, forced gratuity/tips…. This was a bit odd. 😕🫠🫠 Brussels sprouts w/ Strawberry reduction appetizer was flavorful (could use a bit more balancing with pomegranate & cheese).

Strictly on food. Burger felt like could’ve been better had no flavor or seasoning . But it was cooked as I liked it and it was a a burger you can get through if you’re eating for fuel. Fries soggy from the oil like it wasn’t crispy it would’ve been okay if it was seasoned with more salt . They dessert was good no complaints. It was a chocolate vanilla cakeI felt like they also gave me more juice in my drink than alcohol.

The tres leches baklava vegan dessert ALONE will have me coming back often. The mushroom calamari is excellent. The three sauces that come with it are SO SO SO good!!! (Especially the salsa verde). The brussel sprouts with pomegranate was mad good! Great staff. Awesome experience. Oh and the coffee is real good too.
