We ordered mini breakfast — and it was a great choice! The poori was absolutely the standout: crispy, fresh, and so flavorful. The papad was a nice touch, and everything we tried was delicious overall. The service was excellent — attentive and friendly throughout. Would definitely come back to try more!

Another visit to Ahimsa and another great meal. The Gobi Manchurian is amazing. The garlic Naan always pleases. Our vegetarian entrees were very tasty too. The service is stellar. If you haven't tried them. DO!

I ordered the onion and chili dosa from here which I quite enjoyed. I especially enjoyed the green sauce and daal. I liked the crunchy texture of the dosa. All of us quite enjoyed the dosas that we ordered! Would definitely come back to try some other flavors.

Very nice indian vegetarian food in the heart of Manhattan. Staff is courteous and attentive. Just be careful about the location when using google at first it direced to wrong location near 59th street whereas correct location is closer to Grand Central station.

A True Hidden Gem – Exceptional in Every Way at Ahimsa! From the moment we walked into Ahimsa, we were met with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a perfect dining experience. The setting was intimate and beautifully styled, with attention to detail that made it feel both elegant and cozy. We ordered several dishes, and each one was a masterpiece. The ingredients were clearly fresh and thoughtfully sourced, and the presentation was impeccable — just look at the attached photo! The balance of flavors was spot-on, with just the right mix of creativity and comfort. It’s rare to find a place where every dish makes you pause and savor each bite. The service was equally impressive. Our server was kind, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. They offered thoughtful recommendations and checked in just enough without ever being intrusive. To top it all off, the wine selection was beautifully curated and paired wonderfully with the meal. Whether you’re a foodie, a casual diner, or someone just looking for a special night out, Ahimsa will absolutely impress you. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!
