I literally just got 2 dishes to take out - empanadas and Tres leches cake. The empanadas were okay, but the tres leches is so overpriced! I got a slice as big as a strawberry for $10! See pic to put it in perspective.

I want to like this place so bad, but I’m just unsure. I’ve been here three times, once for lunch and twice for takeout. Let’s start with the good: it’s close to my apartment, they have good gluten free options and seem to be knowledgeable, and when the food is right it boarders on good/fine but I’ve had better. I usually get the plantain, bean, avo arepa and it’s different every time. It’s kinda bland if I’m being honest, and the most recent time I had it, there were no brands but severely undercooked mushrooms. This place is also VERY overpriced. Especially their weekend brunch which I accidentally stumbled in on. The wait time is also always outrageous.

Buena atención, un menú puntual pero con mucho sabor, y excelentes precios hacen que quieras volver a este restaurante, sin dejar a un lado su excelente ambiente! Y su golfeado! De otro planeta! Sin duda que probar su comida te hace querer volver!

Food, service, atmosphere all good. Much more expensive than it should be. The prices listed on Google maps are false advertising.

We went in for brunch and the arepas with all their fillings and sides were excellent. Tequeños were great too and the sangría was delicious. Service was truly outstanding. The atmosphere was amazing, not only with live music but also spontaneous salsa dancing. We had a really good time and recommend White Maize for the authentic Venezuelan experience.

A restaurant few people talk about. They serve tasty dishes at appropriate costs. Each food item was noticeably tasty. Every staff member was extremely accommodating. Don't delay experiencing this restaurant.
