My experience there was great. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our appetizer was the fried green tomatoes, and they were great. My wife had salmon patties, yams, and green beans. I had the fried pork chops, yams and red beans and rice. Both of our meals were great. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful first time at EJ’s!!! We were immediately greeted by the owner, Dara. She was so friendly and welcoming! The food was perfect! Seasoned well, cooked to perfection, hot, and fresh! The fried pickles were crispy and flavorful. The jerk chicken was juicy and had a wonderful blend of spices. The fried okra and mac and cheese were the best I’ve ever had. Dara is absolutely amazing. This is my new favorite restaurant and we will absolutely be back soon! Can’t wait to try Sunday brunch!!! 😍🥰

Let me tell you... this is soul food at its finest! The red beans and rice is "slap your Mama good!" The mac n cheese is creamy and the seasoning is on point! TRY the fried pork chop dinner... you will thank me! OH yeah... almost forgot... they cater... Just saying.!

I love coming to this Bkack owned restaurant, I have had every vegan item on the menu and they are all GOODDTTT 😋 the owner Dara is very friendly, personable and down to earth!!!

First time here brought my Dad for Fathers day, first off, if you are going to take a large crowd on a holiday like Fathers day, please make reservations so they can plan for it, now, back to the food, it is off the charts, awesome flavor, cooked to perfection, and absolutely mind numbing good, we will be back and soon, thanks to the owner for your hospitality even though you were pulled in 100 directions, one last thing, be prepared to ask for a togo box for what you will not be able to eat, due to they make sure you get your moneys worth!!!

The chicken was raw and my kids do because of the drink sugary and salt and then put watermelon in my chicken and then fill it so I do not think we should go it
