Decent coffee drinks. Didn't care for the gluten free pastries- tried the cookies and the scones.

They have a sandwich with beats, cheese, and maybe kale, which was quite good.

As a vegan I want to love this place, but it's hitting a little low. The $2 upcharge for oatmilk is absurd and not clearly mentioned! I mean come on- the most a chain would charge is 80 cents and at least it would be obviously listed as an upcharge. The house made nut milk is FREE but it is not listed on the board!! This should be clearly marked on the large ordering board or the order taker should mention this. The sandwich I ordered was delicious, but $14 for a medium sized sandwich without even a side or anything included is pretty steep. Service was slow and no one was particularly friendly either. EDIT: At Aldi, a gallon of regular milk is about $2.50-$3.00, and oat milk (which is a 64 oz carton, not a gallon) is usually priced between $2.79 and $3.49. It’s only slightly more expensive, and not by a huge margin. I understand that this is a small business but an up-charge of $2 is unheard of even at local cafes.

Stopped in to read a bit and was pleasantly surprised with the best vegan apple carrot muffin I ever tasted! The nut milk latte was also delicious. After I saw the menu I wished I had time to stay for a meal.

The vegan power bowl was delicious! However it seems unsanitary that staff members were wearing tank tops, spandex booty shorts, and long hair down when they’re handling food. Also the tip options are pretty high for not having a server. You pour your own water from a faucet but there isn’t ice available.

For me, the place has become a kind of sanctuary I get to rest at some days, between jobs. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with a vibe that makes you want to stay. I stopped in one day to get a coffee, and to meet with my brother, and ever since that day, I keep finding myself wanting to go back. I do my best thinking there, my best reading, my best work.. One time, when I didn’t have cash for the parking meter, the owner, without hesitation, gave me money from the register to pay for it. Just phenomenal people, phenomenal coffee, and phenomenal vibes.. funny how something like a coffee shop can be so much more than a coffee shop.
