⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍👍...I'm both comfortable and confident in giving this fine place and Beautiful Food 5 stars and two thumbs up, even though I've never been there...The food at this restaurant is a Direct Reflection of an elder principal's use of food to spend time and share with his family...Those of you will either understand my confidence in giving it the highest rating or not.

Very cute and quaint place. Our server was friendly and delightful. My friend had the vegan BLT. It was fabulous! I had the Benny with ham and a side of biscuit and gravy with sausage. The gravy was well seasoned and sausage was good. Update .....went again and everything is still great! I highly recommend their burger. The one I got had a fried green tomato with pimento cheese. So good!

My family was in town to see the caverns and needed a meal the night before. We saw this place had been around since 1954 and figured it had to be pretty good. It exceeded expectations. The smoked avocado appetizer - a whole avocado, smoked, pitted, then piled with shredded BBQ meat and cheese and briefly broiled - was innovative and delicious. My son’s catfish was lightly crusted with cornmeal and fried to a pleasant crisp. I got the half chicken, enormous, well-smoked, tender and full of flavor, with a light glaze of delicious BBQ sauce. My wife’s brisket was flavorful but a little tough, but her turkey was outstanding, moist and smoky and delightful. Of the sides, the green chile cheese grits stood out, along with the generous helping of buttered toast. A slice of local pecan pie, rich but not too sweet, made a great finale. Service was great. Family friendly restaurant.

The food is AMAZING! I am allergic to wheat. They have a ton of gluten free options and the fried menu is superbly cooked.
