I cannot say enough good things about this cake! Not only was it absolutely stunning, but it perfectly matched the spooky, vintage aesthetic of my baby shower. Every detail, from the piped ghosts to the “HELLO” banner was so thoughtfully crafted and unique. It was clear that so much love and artistry went into making it. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful (and delicious) it was. Truly a showstopper and the centerpiece of the event. Thank you for bringing my vision to life in such a magical way!

Enough is enough. This place has turned out to be the worst vegan bakery I have ever come across. After supporting them since the beginning I have seen horrible changes. If you're looking for horrible customer service where you feel like you are a burden as soon as you walk in, have no idea what the prices are until you pay and worst of all, horrible tasting desserts where you get very little for an enormous price. It's quite apparent they are throwing desserts together and selling knowing people will but no matter what. Save your money. It's so obvious their main concern is money. $17.95 for a VERY DRY GF PB Pies. The thing is very tiny and has very little taste compared to how they made them years ago. Check out VegOut for their desserts and across the bridge Donerds Donuts. Also, Wegmans has vegan chocolate mouse as well as a few other vegan options in their bakery. Anywhere but here. Especially in this day and age when money is very important to people.

I would give zero stars if I could. Cakes are beautifully presented in the case (as they are on social media as well) but the shop itself was a million degrees hot with one employee visible in his office with a large fan blowing on himself instead of cooling the customer area. The employee at the counter seemed to care less what we were ordering and didn’t even know the answer to a simple question about one of the 8 or so “large” cakes in the case (Question : What flavor cake was in the orange cream cake? ). Ended up purchasing the orange cream cake which was a staggering $60 for about a 6 in cake and the employee proceeded to place it in a a box that was far too small, explaining “we don’t have a larger box for this”. Oh ok. See photos for how that turned out after the car ride home. To add insult to injury, the (at this point quite ugly from the ill fitting box) cake was terribly dry, overly sweet and the icing had an off-putting flavor. I’m no stranger to vegan baking and next time I’ll just save the hassle and bake my own birthday cake.

My husband once bought a chocolate cake for his birthday, it was an expensive cake, and I didn’t like the taste of it at all: it felt very dense, dry and heavy dough, extremely sweet, more sugar than real chocolate. Once I also bought a small lemon pie to share with a friend and it also felt very dry and way too sweet. The service isn’t great either, staff was not friendly and looked “bored” at the clients.

I've been dreaming of visiting here since I first read a VegNews article back in 2021! So glad we stopped by on our family trip down to Philadelphia! I got a peanut butter bomb, which was tasty and so rich, my daughter got their soft serve ice cream which she loved and couldn't finish, and my son got a giant strawberry danish which was delicious! Highlight for me was the pistachio croissant! I didn't get a pic but it was perfect! Chocolate dipped, cream filling, and perfectly croissant! I would absolutely come back for another!

Love this place, but they are losing their marbles. Just paid $17+ for a 4” PB pie… there’s not even eggs (obviously), truly crazy, far reach regardless of your ‘excuse’ :,(

Edit: Sorry but I need to remove a couple stars. I discovered Vegan Treats many years ago when visiting NYC and I loved their cheesecakes. I've voted for them for best bakery for some vegan list and when a friend brought me some of their stuff last year, I thought the quality on a couple items wasn't the best, but overall I was happy. However, over the winter I ordered a couple of their tins with chocolates/treats, and boy, what a disappointment. The boxes are cute and the stuff inside wasn't bad, per se. It's just that for the quality and quantity, it was way, way, way overpriced. They tasted like cheapo grocery store chocolates (honestly my local grocery store has better vegan stuff), but at a fine chocolate price point. I cannot recommend ordering anything from their online store. ------------ Previous review: The best. Such cute and creative options. Please open a storefront in the Bay Area.
