Mellow Mushroom Charleston - West Ashley

I have to give Mellow Mushroom a one star rating today. This is my third time at this restaurant. The first two times I sat at the bar and the food and service was amazing. The third time I sat a booth to get some lunch. Immediately received menus from the young man that was kind. But the wait staff didn't serve us. She served everyone that came in after us. We left and no one even recognized it. Moral of the story, if you go here, sit at the bar.

My husband had a pizza and said it was great. I enjoyed a piece of the crust and agree that they have great pizza crust. I had a small greek salad that was loaded with fresh vegetables and other toppings. The servers are always cheerful and helpful and the food comes out at the approached interval. Love the decor.

This place was awesome. The service was great as well as the food. The place very spacious and beautifully designed.

Server was friendly and efficient. Took care to double check everything after I mentioned my allergies.

We love our Mellow Mushroom, this was our first time at this location. I had the custom burger with bacon mushrooms and onion. It is a double patty smash burger style. Slamming good. Service was good the waitress was training and serving several other tables we went during the lunch rush. My wife had the steak and cheese calzone. Good could use a little more cheese. My sone had the gluten free pizza he has severe food allergies and this is the only place he can eat pizza other than if we make at home.

Amber was great!! We were having trouble with our youngest finding something she liked and Amber made it happen quickly with a smile. Great pizza and atmosphere!!

Very responsible for large parties.

I used to love Mellow Mushroom - there was a location in my hometown growing up and it was considered a "fancy" night if we ever went to MM. I feel like the franchise has died a little. The food was fine but didn't have that flair I used to love so much. I miss it.
