Loved this place! My son is vegan and anytime we go to Austin, we try a new vegan place. Nissi was great! Birria tacos for me and flautas for my son. The protein was soy but the texture was spot on. The rice and beans were a l so tasty. I highly recommend!

Love this place. Always stop by when im in north austin. Amazing tacos: I highly recommend the Birria, picadillo and pastor ones. Love that they come with onion and lime and rice and beans!! Always get your moneys worth. Burritos are ok. Hempchata is awful i honestly don’t know how it made it on the menu 😭 but they still get 5 stars because the food. Would also loveeee some more vegan desserts and a better horchata …

I’ve been here twice. The first time I went they put a little too much vegan meat in my meal. The second time I got the vegan fajita meat in a burrito. It had the right amount. Really good food overall. It’s always nice to see vegan restaurants that make good food so for that alone I’d recommend going. There are definitely things that could be improved. Like for dining in there are no real plates or silverware. They give you a single wooden spork to eat something that is messy enough to warrant a proper knife and fork. Also they give you your food on a paper plate. It seems like such an easy fix that would make a world of difference for the sit down experience. The only other small complaint I have is that the salsas are pretty good but I’ve certainly had better elsewhere.
