cannot beat $5 meal that is VEGAN. literally unheard of these days!!! great salad and coffee bar - which is worth the $5 alone tbh. but then there’s the rest of the buffet which is 95% of the time amazing. Sometimes the food in the steamwells gets a bit dried out (mashed potatoes) or soft (quesadillas) so just get there as close to open as possible for the freshest options :)

Unbelievable Views best bargain meal in America

We were staying at roadhouse and mercantile in Kanab and they gifted us with two free lunches at Angel village cafe.I was pleasantly surprised with the vegan street tacos and enchiladas! The salad bar was full of fresh vegetables and dressings. Coffee bar and cold drinks(extra$),water and dessert. Indoor seating with a view same as outdoor seating. The view on the patio of the Kanab mountains had me feeling on top of the world. Stunning view. All of that for only $5.

$5, people. For $5, you can have a delicious meal at theis Angel Village Cafe. The food is sooo good. I mean sooooo good!!! Everything!! We have eaten there so many times, and all the recipes they make are amazing! They take cash or card, and it is so cheap. Right? Anyway, there is always a amazing salad bar, a hot entreé, then sometimes a side salad. Then, there is usually at least one dessert to pick from. But, wait! There's more! You can also help yourself to coffee, tea, or they have carafes of water for your tables... Anyway, seriously. Every single entree item has been delicious. I could take a bath in the homemade Italian dressing!! The ranch dressing is also pretty good.

Cute little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and gorgeous views. The staff was very friendly, the cafe was clean and tidy and even with the volume of people coming through it ran smoothly and efficiently. The vegan buffet was absolutely delicious! We ate there twice during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Each day there was a salad bar, a main dish with some sides and dessert. And all for 5 bucks per person! And you could go back for seconds! Highly recommend!

The BEST tasting food in all of Kanab and the most affordable! $5 per person (no tax or added fees!) for an all you can eat buffet. My husband and I aren't vegan whatsoever, but I promise you, we have eaten here probably 7 times and have LOVED every single meal we've had and each time has been different. Also for a great cause, love supporting this organization because of everything they do for the animals, workers, and volunteers. You'd be remiss if you didn't eat here and check out Best Friends at least once. Oh and on Thursdays they do announcements about the animals there and sometimes an animal story outside of their organization! Since I don't have any pictures of food, here are some of the kitties and pups we were able to love on while visiting ❤️

Best vegan food I've ever had

We were visiting Kanab and stumbled upon this gem. Angels cafe is operated by Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. As a family of vegans and animal rights activists this was the best holiday we had because not only was the all vegan food delicious and sumptuous but the whole atmosphere was super warm and friendly. To top it off it’s just $5 per person for the unlimited lunch buffet which includes salad, main course and dessert. We loved their food so much that we purchased their cookbook! After lunch we spent all day at the sanctuary with rescue animals. Today we had the best thanksgiving meal at this place as well. Coming back again soon!
