I visited Vertical Diner with friends after seeing them voted by Happy Cow for Top 10 Vegan Pancakes in the World. Let me just say, the pancakes DEFINITELY live up to the hype! So fluffy and delicious, they are a must try! We shared the Buffalo Tigers (chikun style tenders) and Mac & Cheeze Bites appetizers and loved them- so flavorful and satisfying. You have to stop in on a Tuesday for All You Can Eat Pizza!! The topping combinations are so creative and enjoyable. The Mac & cheese pizza was one of the best pizza slices I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough good things about the food and staff here!

Everything about their menu is ethical but the pricing. The kind of bougie place hippies eat at to feel better about humanities destructive impact on this planet. Be prepared for 20$ a person for that precious peace of mind.

Absolutely amazing and I'm not vegan!! The Mac and Cheese are a must try!! Phenomenal!! Service was great, and she was so kind. Wish I knew her name. Tats, short dark hair with nose ring. You were awesome!!!

We had one night in salt lake and selected vertical diner and wish we had not. I get that it has a casual vibe but it just didn’t seem clean. The service was subpar at best. When we received our food no one checked on us until we were mostly finished. When the waiter asked how my food was I said , “fair.” He replied, “I agree.” What?? My husband’s food was fine-nothing more. The wine selection was minimal- one red and one white. The beer selection was also minimal. Make another choice if you are looking for good food with good service.
