They wouldn't even take our order. We had to leave because no one was coming up to us.

Perfect. Even as a non vegetarian .. utterly spoiled for choice!!!!! Excellent service, really nice environment. Jalapeño poppers and the SPO pizza, best thing I've eaten in a restaurant for a while :) Thanks for the food and the conversation - Alison and Patrick

Please be aware! I was on a road trip from Reno to Colorado and we stopped at Salt Lake City for some vegan food. On 6/27 I ordered the classic breakfast and the burrito bowl (which I saved in my cooler for later) to go. I ate the classic breakfast right away. The first thing I noticed was that the food didn’t seem warm at all. It seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The sausage was a mush and gross, the eggs were tasteless, and the potatoes were still raw on the inside. I ate the whole thing because I was hungry. 2-3 hours later my stomach started feeling sour and not too long after that the non stop vomiting began. It is now July 1st and I am still having symptoms of food poisoning and haven’t been able to keep any food down. I’ve had to get IV fluids for dehydration. My trip was ruined, the drive back to Reno with food poisoning was hard, and now I will be out of work for a week to recover. I called the restaurant the next day and they didn’t seem worried at all. They told me the manager was on vacation and the he would call me back. It’s been 5 days and no one has called back! DON’T EAT HERE.

Great gluten free options. The nachos were incredible, and my wife was skeptical that they were vegan. We are still not sure because they tasted amazing! Staff was nice. Seating and meal readiness was outstanding for a Saturday dinner. I advise not to park in the lot just north of the restaurant. That place is sketchy. The reverse osmosis water accented the meal in such a way! Apparently this is a type of water purification that uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate water molecules from other substances.

This is a nice vegan restaurant. The food & drinks we ordered were all just OkAy. Nothing was fantastic or amazing. It was pretty standard vegan food. We had the bbq pizza, pulled bbq sandwich, and tacos. Also, we had the grapefruit lemon drop cocktail. All just meh. We also ordered desserts, the carrot cake, and the cheesecake. Both were horrendous! Absolutely terrible. 0/10 would not recommend. Side note, I killed two bugs at my table. One crawly thing and one spider. Sooooo? The service was nice, she was nice and helpful. It's not a place I'll go back to. I love vegan food, and this place was just not it. Don't go out of your way for this place.

Seed oil free! So grateful for the oh-so-few restaurants that prioritize nourishing us and causing no harm! The food was all delicious and my kids loved the pancakes - often at these health conscious places it’s hard to find kid friendly stuff so I was grateful for that!!!

I was genuinely looking forward to trying Zest Kitchen & Bar in Salt Lake City, especially given its vegan offerings and stylish reputation. Unfortunately, my visit left a lot to be desired. I ordered the High Protein Salad, Brussels Sprouts with Tomato Gravy, and the Jalapeño Pepper. Sadly, none of the dishes impressed me—flavors felt off, and overall the food just didn’t taste good. The ambience didn’t help either. The chairs were uncomfortable, and I was seated where the sun was directly in my face the entire time, making the experience even more unpleasant. Service was average, with no standout moments to salvage the visit. All in all, it was a disappointing outing. I wouldn’t recommend this place, even to fellow vegans.

Easily the best vegan pizza I’ve eaten all over the world . Quick, delicious, and allergen friendly! Appetizer and dessert options, all equally delicious!
