Finally had the opportunity to stop in at the Wayside. While the menu is primarily vegan, the selection of options varies greatly. Visited on a Saturday at lunch time. There were two employees on hand and the salad I ordered took about 15 min to receive after paying due to the number of patrons. Due to limited street parking at this busy downtown intersection, plan to walk from some distance.

Always nice to have vegan options. Food was tasty and the portions were huge!

We ate dinner outside here and it was delicious!! One of the best meals we've had recently. We got the buffalo chicken and mac & cheese to share. The portions were generous and it wasn't too expensive either. Really excellent flavor on both items. Great service. We will definitely be back!

Great food! I recommend going in to pick up food cause every day they have some bakery items for sale. Anyone craving cake needs to try it here!! People are nice too and they feed the homeless through a pay-it-forward system. Recommendations: Buffalo cauliflower, rib plate, seiten wings, and any special with the oyster mushrooms.

A best stop for vegan food, plan your trip around eating here. Loads of food portions and amazing tastes. BBQ ribs! Tofu stir fry on red rice!

Not very good food to be honest. Not that good of flavors. Possibly not enough salt. $30 for a sandwich.

some of the best and most flavorful cauliflower wings ever!! how is the ranch vegan? it was so good! i also had the fluffernutter cookie which again was beyond great, also so surprised it was gluten and vegan! i felt so welcomed and cannot wait to come back and support a business that is passionate about what they do!! as someone with gluten, dairy and egg allergies i often eat at vegan places to avoid cross contamination, i explained this to the server and they were so excited to help me navigate the menu!

Im the only pescatarian in my family but primarily eat vegetarian, and love to explore vegan/vegetarian options. I ordered the Dip sandwich with mash and it was astounding. The flavor and texture was perfect and the portion was large enough i could split into 2 meals easily. I've never had such a convincing meatless alternative, it was so convincing I'm almost positive my husband wouldn't notice. I also loved how quiet it was, seemed like a good place to quietly enjoy your meal and scroll on your phone. The location is great for a day date, as it's right in the square surrounded by other fun shops. Will absolutely be coming back with the whole family for a lunch date
