God knows how this restaurant has 4 star rating. The mint chutney was the worst with so much color added. For real? I can give you mint if you are short of mint. Stop adding colors and calling it Indian food. Veggies felt like plastic too. God only knows what they are feeding in the name of Indian food. Cook at home instead guys! The service guy when we asked why the mint chutney is sweet he said shall I give chilli? Bro!! learn cooking first! Sarcasm later. You will go bankrupt in India if you serve this as food.

Don’t even think about visiting this restaurant and advise everyone else to think million times to dine in at this restaurant. Very very bad and mannerless staff members , they lie about everything you order and foods were not even keeping up to the minimum one could expect being from same region. I definitely would recommend staying away from this restaurant.

I walked into Maharana expecting food and values that honored the restaurant’s namesake, but came away disappointed and—frankly—hurt. Seeing beef on the menu felt jarring given the cultural reverence typically associated with “Maharana.” I respect that many people eat beef, yet a name so rooted in Hindu heritage should signal at least some sensitivity to that tradition. The meal itself did little to redeem things. A lurid, artificially-colored onion paste, pickled carrots, and a watery tamarind “sauce” arrived first—none of which matched the flavors you’d anticipate at a North Indian restaurant. The “biryani” turned out to be closer to vegetable fried rice: over-cooked grains, no layered aroma, and every vegetable in sight tossed in for good measure. Credit where it’s due: the chole was hearty and well-spiced, and the poori was warm and puffed. Even the server, however, warned us against ordering biryani—never a reassuring sign. To top it off, several items from our order simply never showed up. Between the cultural mismatch, underwhelming food, and spotty service, I can’t recommend Maharana. I hope management rethinks both the menu and the message behind the name so future guests don’t leave feeling the same disappointment.

Food sucks. Ask for spicy they don’t make it spicy. I mean extra hot. Second the bread is not good at all. Got no plates or silverware on delivery

Mostly order takeout and it’s always perfect. Vegetable masala or curry both r super great for vegetarians and have so much flavor and many ingredients. Seriously they never mess up my order. So yum- thanks.

Drove over an hour and planned to eat the lunch buffet here. Arrived to see no buffet set up. It is only offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Price is about $19 for the buffet then. Place looked clean and the staff were polite. We were disappointed but did not want to order at menu prices. We had checked to be sure the restaurant was open but did not call to confirm the status of the buffet.
