Baba's Vegan Cafe

I had a great experience here. A friend gave us a gift certificate, so my wife and I shared two sandwiches and a bunch of sides. Everything tasted great--especially my lentil patty sandwich, that was so well balanced. We ate a lot but aren't feeling weighed down. The woman working the counter took great care of us, and I even got my wife a beautiful copper bracelet from Ishmael out front. We'll definitely be returning.

Sometimes a lil wait but very worth it . Amazing nutrient dense food that leaves you feeling alive and electric. Very affordable plate options for 12$

Absolutely love it! From the 1st day, I will be becoming a loyal customer. I prefer the black eyed peas, over the red beans. The welcome plate is🔥🔥. The dinner deluxe is great, I just don't like greens/red beans, I prefer their black eyed peas instead🔥🔥. Veggie, lentil sandwich 🔥🔥. Lentil burger🔥🔥. Raw or fried protein: cauliflower, walnut meat, carrot tuna, chickpea tuna, mushrooms, and lentil fritters🔥🔥. Raw and cooked sides: cold/hot mac, purple cabbage, rice, black eyed peas, mixed veggies, kale salad. Soups: potato chowder, veggie lentil🔥🔥. Tacos, bachos, and babarit excellent choice🔥🔥.

Delicious! Everything was great but the greens and hot mac were the stars for me.

Ima give yall 5 star to support and because the food is good! But yall did me a little dirty with this one. I paid for the chocolate cake with frosting but got a small cake wrapped up with no frosting not like the photo on the website.

Baba's Vegan Cafe has a fantastic selection of vegan dishes! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly. I recommend trying their jackfruit tacos. The prices are reasonable, and I spent around $10 per person.

Sad to say customer service was horrible, food wasn’t all that , there’s alot of other vegan spots with great customer service and better food quality. I grew up in this neighborhood and was excited to see a vegan spot , but boy the customer service suck , had lots of questions about the food as a first time buyer and they didn’t want to answer anything about the food , didn’t have any veggie patties made , and had a very nonchalant and bland attitude. Should have been more welcoming by them being a small hole in the wall with very old furniture you would think. Never again , never coming back can’t try to support black owned businesses sadly the customer service is always bad

The food was excellent! Quickly ordered, prepared and served. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The kale salad was outstanding and filling for a salad. The soul plate was also very good. I loved everything on it. All of the food is well seasoned and tasty. It was all food that I would feel satisfied eating every day— healthy, delicious, and just rich enough! This place is a gem.

All delicious and reasonably priced. Mac salad and Mac and cheese with walnut meat are insane. I’m so happy right now!
