The Purple Mint Vegan Bistro

So many fun options! We got the garlic noodle shrimp which was a tasty dish we usually can’t find vegan. The summer spring rolls were good, but the peanut sauce was a bit watery, rather than thick and creamy per my preference, I probably wouldn’t get the rolls agains once the peanut sauce is a big part of the flavor for me. The orange chicken was sweet and tasty, I also got to try the wontons and the duck lettuce wrap. A nice variety and tasty dishes, would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

I wish I could have stayed in town longer to try out more items on the menu! Excellent vegan food and super friendly staff.

I was absolutely blown away! I definitely didn’t think it looked remarkable from the outside but I was incredibly impressed! Our server, the food quality, taste, portion size for price and ambiance was perfect! I had the Tofu Spring Rolls and Vegan Bahn Mi. Both were delicious! I also enjoyed some from my friends’ plates. I’ve been vegan for 14 years and in San Diego the entire time. the Purple Mint definitely made it into my top three in terms of vegan restaurants and even if you’re not vegan you’re going to love the quality and freshness. I cant wait to go back and bring my friends and family!

We loved everything about this place! The food was fresh, flavorful and the portions hearty. The service was very courteous and quick. It’s a cute little no frills restaurant with amazing Vietnamese/ pan Asian food. We had hot and sour soup (huge portion!) and the spicy lemongrass noodle soup. Definitely recommended!

Food is delicious, I could easily eat the Crispy Seasoned Tofu daily. Every one who works there is incredible friendly. Thank you Purple Mint!

The menu is diverse and very yummy. Highlights were the fried tofu, mapo tofu lettuce cups and jasmine milk tea. They have done a phenomenal job with the ambience and the food. The only downside is the surrounding location. Will definitely revisit when we are in the area.

One of the best vegan restaurants in San Diego.

The food was fantastic. The restaurant is decorated really nicely. Very inviting atmosphere. We ordered numerous dishes and they were all fantastic. Good portions and all seasoned well. The service was also attentive and very helpful.

One of my favorite vegan meal experiences ever! I was wanting some comfort food and this place got all the flavors right. The crispy rolls were my favorite, passion fruit it lemonade was good but a tad too sweet for me. The orange chicken is such a classic and they did it so well! The service was amazing and fast too.
