Everything is soooo good but my favorite is the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

A really fun corner café with excellent vegan and vegetarian options. The entire café is vegetarian, and almost everything can be modified to be vegan. A good portion of the menu is vegan already. They also have clearly marked vegan baked goods in their own section. Everything tastes delicious, the grande burrito I got could feed an entire house! The staff was extremely courteous and the owner was present and happy to see every customer. I would highly recommend this place to any vegan or vegetarian visiting New Haven.

We had need of three breakfasts in New Haven and we happily ate them all here. What a warm, welcoming place. Everything we ordered was superb. The vegan pancakes were the best pancakes (not just vegan!) I have ever eaten. My husband ordered omelets twice and huevos rancheros once and was a happy guy. The granola bowl was so good. Even scrambled eggs and toast were the best. Check out the pastries as well--you will not regret it.

I ran into a last minute hiccup and desperately needed kosher cake for my kids’ birthday party. I popped into Claire’s and the whole staff jumped in to help me find what I needed. We ended up going with their smaller cake loaves and they were a hit with the kids - they even frosted them & added sprinkles! Thank you, Claire’s!

The quiche was excellent and came with a side of fruit and a small loaf of bread which were both delicious. The light roast coffee was some of the best I've had. The vibe is wonderful! Great place!

If you want to solve the mystery of missing Yale students, check how many of them visited this place. It's not a coincidence. Edited in response to the owner's reply: you have to be out of your minds if you believe I want to enter an establishment responsible for the above. BTW your response reeks of guilt and desperation.

Walking into Claire’s Corner Copia feels less like entering a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a community built on kindness, care, and a true love of good food. With its signature motto, “Be Kinder Than Necessary,” proudly on display, Claire’s doesn’t just serve food — it serves values, warmth, and a reminder that compassion can be a part of every meal. The all-vegetarian menu is a vibrant celebration of organic ingredients, thoughtfully prepared and bursting with freshness. Whether you're savoring a classic like the Lithuanian Coffee Cake or exploring something new from their ever-inventive specials board, every bite feels nourishing — not just for the body, but the soul. The staff are simply delightful: warm, welcoming, and always happy to share recommendations or just brighten your day with a smile. Their genuine care for guests and passion for the food they serve is unmistakable. Claire’s isn’t just my favorite local restaurant — it’s a sanctuary for conscious dining, where every detail, from the sustainability of the ingredients to the kindness of the service, makes you feel good about your choice. In a world that moves fast and often forgets to be gentle, Claire’s Corner Copia is a beautiful reminder that kindness and good food never go out of style.

Please avoid going here unless you have extra money and extra time. I waited about 90 minutes for a margherita pizza! It was basically flat bread with a runny sauce and cheese on top. I’m pretty sure the sauce was just marinara—like the kind you’d use for pasta. Superrrrr greasy and tasted really weird. The cheese didn’t even stick to the bread because of the watery sauce. And the coffee cake? Kind of a disappointment too. The icing was just straight-up sugar—you could literally feel the sugar crystals in every bite. So much huff and puff, money, and time… and I’m still hungry!!!
